ShangriLa Frontier Chapter 441: Dragon, Oh Dragon! PART 18 Part 2
I raise my left hand and place the shield right in front of me. And then I start making a few steps forward and one step back, moving just like a centipede at a speed that was once accelerating only to diminish in the next moment. If I were to point out one single flaw of this shield of mine, it would be the fact that it was SUPER heavy which was making moving around slightly difficult of a thing to do. But it was thanks ot that characteristic that the small dragons were being run over, crushed, or blown to the sides without an issue. Some of those small dragons had a really strange shapes, but does it even matter right now? No, the only thing that matters is to rush forward with your shield being raised. Everything else becomes irrelevant.
As luck would have it, this here wall shield has the highest physical resistance that a player could ask for, as well as a good level of resistance towards impact attacks. And right about now it’s not even a shield but a literal wall that moves forward constantly…… all the while blowing enemies away like bowling pins. It was actually pretty amusing of a thing to witness here.
Ah, I see that the majority of the players have already evacuated from here. I am really sorry for stealing your prey from you time after time like that. But I guess that in this form communication would actually be quite difficult…… So it’s better to just turn away and carry on!
「Let’s just press oooooonnnnnnAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!」
The moment I see the opening in the ceaseless flood of small dragon enemies, I cannot miss it. Instead, it is a moment when I need to inspire myself to press on, activating the black thunder and accelerating even further. While still in the air, I make a pose as if I was trying to pierce something with Aradval…… No, no, no, that’s not it. That’s not it at all. At this very moment, this sword is actually the tip of a burning spear. …… The fourth spear, the one that makes for the legend of the phantom spear. The spear that is going to bring me victory. But if so, then what is the name of this mysterious weapon? What is this feeling that I can sense coming from Aradval now?

The moment when the incandescent tip was thrust into the shoulder of Red Howl and touched the wound that was made earlier thanks to the Memento Mori’s attack……

Now, one has to wonder: was it possible from the very beginning to be able to amputate the dragon’s arms as part of the limb destruction system? Or was it simply Aradval Rebuild’s murderous intentions towards the dragonkind that made such a thing possible here……? But anyways, don’t be such a drama queen, Red Dragon Red Howl! You have only lost one arm so far! Surely that’s not the end of the world for you? Surely you will be able to manage somehow!? After all, it’s only an arm!
「SEE THAT!? THAT’S WHAT YOU GET FOR ACTING SO STUPID LIKE THAT, RED DRAGON! NOW, FOR YOUR OWN FOOLISHNESS YOU SHOULD SUFFER WITH YOUR WOUNDED BODY! MAYBE THAT WILL TEACH YOU SOMETHING FOR THE FUTURE!!!」

「HUH……? WHAT WAS THAT JUST NOW……?」
Seeing that Aradval Rebuild lost almost all of its heat in that last attack and was now only letting out a thin trace of black smoke from its blade, I put it back into my inventory for now. I’d say that this sword has served its purpose well for now. So now it’s time to let some other weapon have its turn. Thinking that, I change my weapon and my fists are next covered in a mixture of both steel and crystal.
「Excess Mechanism: “EXCEED CHARGE”!!!」
A big game such as yourself demands big measures to take it down! And as luck would have it, I have something that is just about right for hunting down a big game! With just a single thought the armor covering the innermost parts of the Scorpion Gauntlets slide off to reveal the Golden and Silver crystal cores sitting inside of the gauntlets. At this exact moment their brilliance and radiance was starting to get compressed into a deadly and destructive power, and it was now all in my hands. As the owner of the gauntlets, it was entirely up to me to decide when and where that deadly power is supposed to be unleashed.
Hahaha! You fool! You stupid, absolute imbecile! You should have wait with sending those smaller dragons away in order to attack the Red Dragon! You should have ordered them all to stay right here and get rid of me as soon as possible! But with that, you have officially sealed your fate! I am going to use that opportunity you gave me to attack! And you can be sure that this is going to be an attack with everything I have!
At this rate, I have no need for such trivial things as visibility assistance. And with the black thunder of Overflow effect covering my whole body, it should only take me about a single step or so in order to reach the White Dragon. Or more specifically, the abdomen of the White Dragon. And with such a weak and defenseless target being right in front of me at the current moment, there is only one thing to do here: dedicate the last ten seconds of Blood Crown being active and the remaining endurance of the Scorpion Gauntlets to launch an all-out attack against the dragon and show it who’s boss here. And also hope that it is going to be more than enough here.

「…… GAH, HAAAAAAHHHH……!?!?!?!」
Stab. Harden. Shatter. Stab. Harden. Shatter. Stab. Harden. Shatter.
By being able to repeat all of those three processes over and over again I am able to basically crush and pulverize The White Dragon’s abdomen into a bloody pulp.
At the same time, I can feel my body being hit by wave upon wave of tremendous recoil, mostly because I had to be as close to the epicenter of the shockwaves as possible in order to make this thing work as it was intended to.
「GNUAAAAAAaaaaaahhhhh……!?」
I should have known it. I should have anticipated that the recoil of the shockwaves would be so powerful that even this body of mine, additionally being strengthened with the extra effects caused by upping my monstrous killing score, would not be enough to withstand it. But a part of me was still hoping that it would not be the case. And now I have basically reap what I have sown.
Even my feel, normally clad in R.I.P but at the current moment barely even human no matter how you look at it, were being pushed back with a force so tremendous that there were carving up deep trenches in the ground. As they say –– a picture is worth more than a thousand words.
Ah, not good. Something is coming right at me from behind.
「NuuuAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!」
I manage to avoid this sneak attack by bending my body forward, as if I was bowing down to someone, and then I lean on my back with my arms making a motion as if I was trying to push the now completely broken Scorpion Gauntlets against the ground.
「Alright, I’m in the cl……」
I’m in the clear. That’s what I was going to say. However, before I was able to say that……
And with that the five minutes mark have already passed.
