Return of the Fallen Volume 12 Chapter 146
A large dark blade appeared in Gardius’s hands. Fire, golden lightning, Darkness, and frost energy swirled around his sword. The heavens seem to tremble when this blade was unleashed.
“I WILL BREAK YOU!”
Gardius’s words sent a chill down the spine of every God there. Those that were fresh on the attack quickly retreated away from him and Belux.
Belux nodded his head slowly. Once again a calm expression took over his face.
“I did not want to fight. There really is no point in this petty squabble. None of you are a match for me. But it is understandable. I was once in a similar position as all of you. No control over my own life, my own destiny but there is a great difference. I do not seek power nor hold any greed. This isn’t even about anyone here, well that’s not entirely true.”
Belux flashed a glance toward Kazuki and Arc before he looked at everyone around him.
“No, what I do…I do for everyone. Come…let us end this farce so that we can begin anew.”
Belux’s dark barrier suddenly spun around him like a tornado. In doing so, many people nearby were sucked into it and were shredded apart as if they were made of strips of paper. Blood sprayed out in a mist and then became a heavy rain as chunks of bone and viscera mixed together in a nasty smoothy of innards.
Immediately every God nearby took off in the opposite direction except one.
Gardius held no smirk or smile. He did not care about anyone there but himself. He had been humiliated and his ego would not allow this display of power from Belux to go unanswered.
*AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!*
His shout caused space to crack as he shot forward faster than light.
He arrived in front of Belux instantly. With a slash toward Belux’s center, the dark tornado was cut through with near ease. Gardius’s blade came toward Belux’s neck without a moment’s notice but before Gardius could separate Belux’s head from his shoulders, a dark blade blocked his own.
Belux created a rugged blade made of raw Artifical Origin energy.
The moment the two blades met, a terrible thunderous explosive sound rang out. The noise and power caused the elements to become chaotic in their own right and the sound actually spread through this space with little resistance. It was so fierce that many Gods’ heads directly exploded from the noise alone. It didn’t stop there, the vibrations caused a chain reaction and combined with the magic elements that Gardius and Belux gave off.
This sound directly rattled the souls of anyone close enough.
Their blades grated against one another sending Gardius’s power and Belux’s to shoot off in seemingly random directions.
Those that blew up and had their souls rattled by the sound earlier were considered the lucky ones. Those that accidentally got hit by their power firing out randomly had their bodies and souls explode instantly.
Gods were literally vanishing left and right from these random splash zones of power.
Gardius and Belux could care less about these deaths. Instead, the two were engaged in a dangerous match with steaks of a higher order.
Gardius swung his blade and Belux matched his speed perfectly. In a single moment, the two exchanged several billion strikes. Each one landed upon the other blade, each one sending out rays and beams of death in every direction.
Kazuki quickly formed a plan and everyone made their move. He left a storage ring with Stasha who stood at the edge of the battlefield. With the ring Kazuki handed her, Stasha opened it, and out appeared several thousand Vajra ships. These were ships Kazuki had built and worked on while he was also making Golems and recruiting warrior slaves.
Kazuki needed Stasha, Cainen, Carta, Dredinkar, Nala, and Fleck to do a certain job.
Stasha and everyone else on the ship used most of their energy and focus on keeping the small gap to the outside world open, along with at least one tear in Chaotic space open.
Although they could not escape through the gap because it was simply too small, it was enough to continuously sap away at Belux’s energy. Not only that but there was another purpose for keeping the tiyn gap open. Inside of this space, every time a tear in CHaotic space would open, Belux’s power would close it off. Kazuki needed access to Chaotic energy within Chaotic space.
Out of all the powers at his disposal, Chaotic energy was by far his greatest asset. While they all worked tirelessly to keep it open, Kauzki constantly drew energy from within Chaotic space.
At the same time, he gave access to another storage ring he had. it contained all the Vajra ships he created. Stahsa opened the ring and several Vara ships appeared nearby as she awaited Fleck’s signal. Out of all there besides Kazuki, Fleck most likely had the best eyesight. Since he was an expert archer, he could read the environment better than all when came to a projectile.
He was the man who had the perfect timing. His eyes sharpened as he observed the clashes between Garidus and Belux. He waited and watched until finally he saw it and shouted.
“NOW!”
Stash’s eyes lit up with a purple glow as she controlled the element of space. Her power wrapped around a fleet of ships and using Fleck’s aim, the two fired them together as if they were arrows made of cosmic light. These ships moved at a speed seemingly none could match. As they moved through space, space warped and flexed.
The distance between Stasha and Belux could maybe fit 6 or 7 planets in between them. So the time it took these ships to arrive in front of Belux was a fraction of a fraction of a second. These ships came racing toward Belux with godly speed and overwhelming momentum. Gardius was surprised by these ships but even more so when not a single one struck him from behind and instead flew a razor’s edge past him.
Belux was not surprised by this attack as he had seen Kazuki’s memories. The moment Kauzki and the others had escaped his grasps, Belux expected a counter-offensive of at least this much.
A purplish-black tornado formed around his ugly jagged blade and his speed suddenly accelerated several times faster than before as he swung his sword upward.
A line seemed to separate all space for a split second as this dark tornado came up with a slashing motion. Every single ship seemed to freeze in time before they all split simultaneously and were destroyed on the spot.
“Kazuki, these tactics are pointless. Just accep
Before he could finish his sentence, the wings atop his gauntlet shined with silver light. Kazuki appeared directly in front of Belux with Brella and Jinkin in tow.
Brella wore her golden black Artifact armor with claws extended. She slashed at Belux’s dark barrier while Jinkin’s metallic wires divided into thousands of wires and came flying in from every conceivable angle all at once. This metallic wire was also an Artifact and Jinkin used them as if they were whips. The acceleration on them was amplified when he also applied lightning racing across the surface of them.
Each of these wires flew at a dizzying pace. This caused Belux’s power to scatter as it blocked each of these attacks individually. Brella was nearly through Belux’s barrier but it wasn’t enough. Her claws blazed with fire energy and the barrier began to fall apart. Kazuki did not sit idly by while this was happening. His fist closed tightly as he drew Chaotic energy from the Chaotic tears. Making this energy his own inside of his core, he then drew it out and into his fist.
In both his left and right fist, the power of chaos flowed like violence incarnate.
His right fist landed upon the dark barrier and struck the same point Bella’s claws were cutting in.
*CRACK!*
A large crack appeared in the dark barrier and the tornado that was violently ripping away at them was disbursed for a moment.
Kazuki’s left fist had the gauntlet covering it and the wings vibrated at a supersonic frequency. The power of the gauntlet caused Kauzki’s left fist to punch thousands of times faster than his right. His gauntlet struck the dark barrier and the power of chaos erupted upon the barrier.
From Kazuki’s core, through his arm, into his fist, to his Artifact gauntlet, and then to the dark barrier. Power surged across the surface of the barrier and the initial crack spread rapidly around Belux’s defenses as if a glass jar was breaking in slow motion.
*ChK! CHSSSSSHHHHHHHHH!*
The sound of breaking echoed out as Belux looked on with a stunned expression. Brella’s claws covered in a blazing inferno, and Kazuki’s gauntlet with rampaging Chaotic energy had broken through the barrier and was about to slam directly into Belux when a dark blade covered in five elements came slashing at both of their necks.
