The morning of that day
Marion got out of her bed in a guest room at the top floor of the pirate inn.

Lilac was sitting there alone.
Marion replied as she took the seat opposite Lilac.

「Of course. I already skimmed through the materials that you handed me yesterday, so please proceed with details. After all, this is a valuable information exchange between the heads of the cardinal guilds.」
「Yes, since we are doing this only in case of such emergencies I will give a detailed explanation.」
Twelve Cardinal guilds often held meetings to share information when problems occurred in any of their cities.
In those talks a menace is treated as a mutual threat, if the damage were to be large, cooperative steps for its eradication are taken.
To that end, Marion told Lilac what happened in the City of Stars—
「……I see. Good grief, not only had you giant monsters emerging from the primordial forest, but also an ancient dragon popped up, what a crazy situation.」
With a deep breath, Lilac slapped her hand on the documents lying on the table.
Among them are written reports of the damages to the city.
Furthermore, she received a detailed verbal explanation, apparently transmitting the degree of the danger well enough.
「It was very serious. Though we were saved by Axel-san’s presence.」
In the report, Axel’s activity is written as it was.
When you look at it, the thought of how it might have turned if he wasn’t there fills the heart with a chill. But—
「……The report says『 Due to the efforts of the《Flying Carrier》Axel Granz the damage was minimal』, but is this really the case?」
Lilac’s reaction was very calm.

A bit excitedly, Lilac explained what happened in the morning.
Apparently, she also got the first-hand experience with his speed.

Said that, Lilac hesitated for a bit. However, it seems that she soon resolved herself and immediately opened her mouth again.
「Is that carrier really the Dragon Hero——《Invisible Dragon Knight》?」

Being one of the heroes, it’s extremely likely that it’s one of Axel’s acquaintances.
However, hearing about such odd behavior makes one suspect that even if they are acquaintances they might not be on friendly terms. We know next to nothing about relationships inside of the party of the heroes. If so—
「Indeed, it might be better not to let them meet… That hero of magic is still in this city, right?」
「No, yesterday, a report came that she left into the sea to chase the ship of a fraudulent merchant and that’s it. There has been no report of her return, so since she isn’t in the city, they probably won’t meet for a while. The place of Axel-san’s stay and his whereabouts are concealed, and he also doesn’t throw out his name left and right, so the chances of her hearing about this and suddenly appearing are pretty low.」
Certainly, as Lilac says, it’s unlikely for them to meet.
This city is large and the chances of meeting someone by coincidence are low. But—
