「Oi, you two over there! Stop hiding like cowards and come out already, unless you are in the middle of preparing a surprise for us, in which case feel free to stay hidden for however long you need! But if not, then I strongly suggest getting your asses over here, since it is incredibly rude to have your guests wait like that! Has no one ever taught you proper manners?!」

When he didn’t receive any reply at all, Izayoi continued to slowly walk towards the throne while his eyes were filling with more bloodlust and he clenched his fists so hard that blood could gush out of them at any moment now. He told their hosts that they could take their sweet time preparing the surprise if they had one in store for them, but that didn’t mean that he was going to just sit around and wait for them forever without causing any harm to his surroundings.

「You know what, I changed my mind! I was going to give you three more minutes, but I’m not going to do that anymore, so you’d better start saying your prayers to whatever it is that you believe in, along with that surprise of yours!」

His was the reasoning void of any kind of reason at all even for his perspective as an outsider, but according to him, they didn’t have to bothered with culture and maintaining proper manners when facing outlaws, criminals and other villains. Screw the long-time grudges and looking at the bigger picture! Now that his friend has been seriously hurt as a result of the surprise attack that these scummy bastards launched against him, all he cared about was tearing them apart limb from limb, the sooner, the better. He will have more than enough time to ask those assilants about Homura and Suzuka after he bashed their heads in and breaks each and every bone in their bodies.

Adding more force to his steps, Izayoi was seriously considering if he should just smash the altar and everything around it to pieces until there would be nothing left of it, and perhaps that intention of his was what finally got through to the perpertators behind the attack on Gry, because right as Izayoi was raising his fist with the intention of bringing it down upon the altar with all his pent up rage and fury, the two scumbags finally reavealed themselves to him.

「Okay, you got us there, Mr. Hot-blooded Visitor. Was that beast that tried to snoop around an acquaintance of yours? Or perhaps a close friend? Whichever that may be, we were merciful enough not to outright kill it for being too nosy, but I guess that even doing so little was enough to make you hate us with a passion, huh?」

The two figures came out from behind the throne, and one of them spoke in an amazed voice. It was a youth with strikingly blue hair which were standing out like a sore thumb when put in contrast with the overall color scheme of the surrounding ruins. He looked to be around the same age as Homura and Suzuka, perhaps a tad bit older. In his hands he wielded a bow clad with lightning. Izayoi assumed that it must have been some kind of Divine Weapon, but he had too little information to even start deducing what kind of divinity it might have possessed. However, one look at that weapon was enough for him to guess that this guy was not the one who attacked Gry, since as much as bows were ideal for sneak attacks, their arrows, even the ones imbued with lightning, were not enough to broke a Gryphon’s bones, so he simply ignored the blue-haired youth and moved his sight to the other person that came out from behind the throne together with him.

「Hey you, yes, the lady-killer manwhore over there! Were you the one who hurt the Gryphon?」

「Hmm? Was I the one who hurt that Gryphon? Was I or was I not? I wonder about that?」

The other person truly looked like someone who could make women fall for him simply by walking past them. He was a handsome man clad in linen clothes and a pair of giant, intimidating bull horns growing out of his forehead which was mostly hidden from view by a cascade of glossy black hair. He must have been in his mid-to-late twenties, but the horns were a dead giveaway that he was not a human, but rather some kind of monster or demon originating from a bull.

Judging by the tired tone of his speech, he must have been camouflaging his age and appearance, but the aura he was exhuding left nothing to the imagination: whoever that guy was, he was obviously someone powerful, perhaps not on the same level as the 『Bull of Heaven』, but as far as all of the mythologies go, those who were associated with the mythical bulls of legend were all exceedingly strong individuals, human or otherwise. And if they also possessed a divinity on par of that of a God’s envoy or Chief God’s Avatar, they were usually referred to as either Demons or Demon Lords. On top of that, horned beasts like bulls or deers are universally considered to be a symbol of strength all across the world associated with those who were powerful or possessed an innate amount of hidden talent dwelling within them.

Coming to a conclusion that carelessly approaching those two, a youth with a Divine Weapon and an unknown bull monster, Izayoi stopped himself from going any further once he reached the base of the steps leading to the altar.

(Hmm, looks like Gry wasn’t simply taken by surprise. These two might be really bad news for us.)

Both of those two were probably much stronger than he thought. Suppressing his anger, Izayoi tried to calm himself down and think about their situation clearly. Whe they said that they were merciful enough to let Gry return alive, looks like they really weren’t lying about that. Assuming that he tried to fight them, then escaping while having not one, but two such powerful opponents chase him seemed next to impossible. Indeed, If he was to compare those two to something, then the only thing that could possibly come close to them would have to be the Demon Lord. Izayoi sighed, placed his hands on his waist and looked at the top of the altar.

「So, mind telling me where is your third companion?」

Both the blue-haired youth and the black-heired man appeared to be quite surprised, the handsome one in particular. He looked at Izayoi, and then started laughing as if he was having a time of his life.

「I see now, I see! Looks like you really have eyes as keen as the stories about you are telling!  We thought that she was concealing her presence quite well, but apparently it was still not enough to fool you. You really have become quite a splendid young man with a bright future ahead of him, I’ll give you that!」

「Hmm? You speak as though you knew me, but I believe that this is our firt time meeting one another?」

「Indeed, it is the first time we meet each other in person, but I do believe that you are quite well aquainted with my siblings. So, you tell me now, how are Kouryuu and Karyou?」

For just a brief instant, Izayoi looked as if he was honestly taken aback. Kouryuu and Karyou, the ones the horned man was talking about, were the Saurian Demon Lord and the Rock Demon Lord respectively, and they were a part of the Seven Great Demon Lords from the Journey to the West, and they belonged to the Community called 『Seven Great Sages 』 established by the Great Sage Equalling Heaven, Sun Wukong himself, and all of the members were said to have exchanged the vows of siblinghood with one another. However, after being cleared from their crimes as Demon Lords both Kouryuu and Karyou were now working to protect Little Garden, and they were rather close with Izayoi himself.

The other five Demon Lords were also beings of exceptional power, but these twowho habe been considered to be their leaders have been so famous that they were known universally across both heaven and earth. However…

Among all of the 『Seven Great Sages』, there was only one whose head was adorned with bull’s horns.

That someone was the only one among the 『Seven Great Sages』 said to be the Sun Wukong’s equal, and the name of that brave warrior, the one who challenged the legions of Gods so that he could save his sister’s life and fought in order to pacify the Heavens for the monster’s sake was…

「「The Great Sage Who Pacifies Heaven」…! So you’re the one commanding the 『Seven Great Sages』, Demon Bull King?!」
