Angel of Revelation, Gabriel, bestowed with the Spear of Judgement and the Book of Revelation.

Khuraymah was the inheritor of Gabriel. Although he hadn’t displayed any of his martial prowess he couldn’t be underestimated.

Focused entirely on chanting the incantation, he did not notice the fight. For him as long as the incantation was completed, the trespassers shall be captured.

Just as he was almost on the verge of completion, an intense sense of terror swept over his body forcing him to stop.

The blood filled with the mythological prowess of the Angel of Revelation then revealed its might. The blood cells suddenly began to radiate an intense stream of energy.

His body which seemed to be devoid of any strength and power, suddenly buffed up with that astonishing amount of energy.

All of this happened in a very short time, even Jason could not react to it.

Jason observed how a thin and frail old man erupted with an energy which temporarily forced him to slow down. He could hear the echoes of different chants. The energy in his body turned sluggish, his blood flow almost stopped. Even the people fighting at some distance gazed over.

Azrael had just dealt with the troublesome flames. Her eyes turned sharp as she gazed towards Jason. Her eyes carried sympathy and pity.

Poor man!

Now the tables had turned, it was Jason who was caught in a surprise.

But the old man, Khuraymah, wasn’t spared.

He had entered the state of corruption. His mind was now influenced by the power of Light and its majesty.

In short, his personality had been forcefully changed as his genes dominated his body. The concept was similar to the mutated humans, the only difference being unlike the mutated humans who lost sense of being, his was a controlled one.

He stretched his bulky hands and clasped the approaching combat knife between his fingers.

With him and his mighty build which had crossed over two meters, he gazed moved downwards towards Jason, arrogantly.

He did not retaliate, instead somehow a domain was formed around him.

The power of this domain was more brutal than the one before.

Jason found himself unable to retaliate at all. His knees started to bend and back started to bow.

He was struggling to keep up with all his will.

-Drip-

A drop of blood dripped from his nose on the ground, indicating that his body was under a heavy burden.

What’s this! Damn, my body can hardly move.

“It seems this is all you can amount to, so sad!” Saying so, Khuraymah chopped his hand slowly.

This slow motion brought forth an astonishing amount of energy which left Jason unable to retaliate.

Jason could feel death looming above his head. At this moment various thoughts emerged in his mind. A hazy figure of a man and a woman flashed past his mind.

Ah. I see, well I had a fulfilling life.

Thinking so he closed his eyes.

Suddenly–

GRUMBLE

A grumbling noise resounded in his mind, his thighs felt hot and an intense surge of energy was transmitted from his heart, which filled all of his blood.

The pressure suddenly vanished and his body regained control.

His instincts kicked in and he immediately thrust his legs downwards, using the momentum he distanced himself from Khuraymah.

-Thud-

-Ha- -Ha-

This maneuver had drained him of all the stamina and he fell to his knees.

Meanwhile Khuraymah too stopped his attack, gazing at him he spoke.

“There, there, it seems interesting now.”

He kicked his legs and appeared in front of Jason.

Once again, that heavy domain of Light attempted to crush him, as Khuraymah attempted a straight Jab.

As soon as Jason was submerged in the same feeling again, the strange energy was emitted from his heart again which neutralized the effect.

This time he did not back, but instead he utilized this new energy, merging with his blood and heightening his strength he retaliated with his own punch.

-Bang-

With a loud banging noise the fists connected.

Got you now!

Jason was adept at martial arts and he very well knew by just observing that the might behind that one punch by his opponent was far from what he could handle, therefore he used the concept of fighting hardness with softness.

Just as their fist connected, he shifted all his power from the attacking hand to the other one. Thrusting his left leg forward, he turned around rapidly and launched a side attack from his right hand, targeting the opponents waist.

The power and strength behind this attack was twice that of his previous one.

Khuraymah was caught off guard with this abrupt change.

Jason’s fist entered the opponents waist just like a hammer pounding a soft tofu.

There was no sound of impact, no shockwave, just pure power and strength coiling a tofu.

His fist went deeper and deeper.

-Crack-

A cracking noise could be heard from the bones of Khuraymah’s body.

Very soon the attack lost all its power and Jason backed off hurriedly.

-Puuu-

Khuraymah held his stomach and started puking blood, but things weren’t looking good for Jason too, a line of blood could be seen flowing from his orifices on the face.

The power behind Khuraymah’s attack was not something that his body could handle.

Azrael, who was watching all this from a distance was astonished that Jason could actually injure the now corrupted Khuraymah to this degree. She was very well aware of the power one possessed after one was corrupted by Light.

On the other hand, the situation of James and Kevin was not looking so good.

Kevin was engaged in combat with Noor.

Noor was the inheritor of the Angel of Music, Raphael. He could manipulate air, creating sharp wind blades which he used to attack. Not just this, his attacks contained certain sounds which would reverberate in the opponent’s ears making one feel dizzy and off balance.

But only Kevin could keep him in check, as he manipulated his shurikens to content against the wind blades.

Kevin gazed towards Jason and James, he could feel that they were losing this battle.

It seemed we were too conceited by our power.

He could see, James and his opponent, Khustar were engaged in an intense hand to hand combat. They were exchanging move after move, punches after punches, kicks after kicks.

At this point they both seemed evenly matched but Kevin could feel that every attack by Khustar carried an additional element of thunder or softness, which would catch James off guard forcing him to defend at times.

At this rate, I guess we won’t last long if we do not use our hidden cards.

Kevin thought as James had yet to use his power of pride and Kevin too had his weapons he had gained from his bloodline powers.

It was at this time, he saw Jason with his face drenched in blood which did not seem like stopping. He threw away all his hesitation at this moment.

[Excalibur]

Parrying the oncoming attack, he gathered his bloodline power and chanted with his hands stretched.

The pitch black Excalibur was once again summoned by Kevin.

But this time, Kevin did not plan to use it harshly.

Last time when he had summoned Excalibur, he established a faint connection with the weapon.

This time, he tried to communicate with this weapon, attempting to form a connection.

And it was successful.

The pitch black sword responded to his attempt with a faint vibration.

The tattoo of the star in his hand, shattered and formed again into a five point star. A new stream of information emerged into his head.

Information about all the skills he could use with Excalibur, among the skills Kevin soon found the one fit for the current situation. A domain related skill.

He held Excalibur, upside down and gently tapped the ground.

With him as the center, the ground started to turn black in a circular manner.

The wind blades formed from Noor’s attack dispersed as soon it entered the domain.

Using this time, he hurriedly moved towards James, shouting.

“Uncle James, this way!”

James who had just defended against Khustar’s attack turned his face towards Kevin, noticing the domain of darkness and Jason’s condition, he moved towards Jason, shouting.

“Kevin, hurry towards the vice-captain.”

Kevin nodded and started running towards Jason.

Jason was on his knees now and panting heavily. He couldn’t even move his body at all.

Further in the distance was Khuraymah, somehow the wounds on his body could be seen healing at an astonishing rate.

Khuraymah turned his head towards Kevin and his brows frowned. He could feel an instinctive threat from Excalibur.

Azrael was still observing the situation from a distance. For some reasons she did not interfere with any of the fights after Khuraymah was possessed by his bloodline, as if she was wary of something.

Very soon, Kevin and James converged towards Jason. Khustar and Noor did not chase their opponents and instead moved towards Khuraymah.

Kevin held Excalibur near his chest and gazed at their opponents, with a grave expression. He was ready for immediate action.

James hurriedly held Jason, supporting his body.

“The situation seems tough, how is Jason?” Asked Kevin.

“Not good, seems like his body is in terrible condition.” Jason spoke.

“I–I, am,…”

-Cough-

Jason tried to speak, but coughed blood suddenly.
