「OK so can I decide your penalty, Nanana-dono?」

「Yeah, you can choose anything.」

「Then you’ll have to feed Juugo pudding wearing only an apron.」

  It was at that moment that. 

「Uwoooooh!」

  A gambler was born with a loud roar. 

「Who the hell is my opponent! Come at me if you want to die!」

  Love and peace? What’s that? Does it taste good? You naive little boy, you either win or lose in this world. The gambler version of me smiled boldly. 

「I can’t lose this battle no matter what!」

  I decided to give all I had to win this.

  Obviously Nanana-chan was cringing. Even Tensai, who had led me to act like this, was cringing a bit too. 

「W..well, I’m fine with that penalty but I am an earth bound spirit so I can’t change my outfit…..」

「Please do something about this! I beg of you! Change the fact that you are a ghost or rules of the universe so that you can change your outfit!」

「N..no, I can’t do that even if you prostrate yourself like that…..」

「How about this Nanana-dono, you can wear an apron above the white one-piece dress and act like a young wife?」

「That sounds great! Nice idea, Tensai!」

  I gave a thumbs up (with a wink) and Nanana-chan thought about it while looking at me with the corner of her eyes. 

「Hmmm…..I think I can do that, I guess?」

「Alright, it’s decided. There’s no changing it now! So it’s decided that Nanana-chan will feed me pudding like ‘There you go honey, aaan’ alright!」

「S..sure.」

  Nanana-chan replied while cringing at my completely off the chart enthusiasm. 

「I didn’t expect it to be this much…..」

  Even Tensai was cringing and was looking at me as if she had unleashed something that she shouldn’t have. 

「Alright so Nanana-dono’s  penalty has been decided. So, next up is D’arc, he will be wearing a girl’s school swimsuit to school for a week instead of the uniform.」

  D’arc who was drinking juice bit by bit and staying out of the conversation, spewed out his juice after hearing that. 

「W..what are you saying Tesai! I am a guy! Why am I supposed to wear the girl’s swimsuit!」

「Isn’t it obvious? It’s because I want to see that.」

  If D’arc goes to school wearing a girl’s school swimsuit then what kind of a catastrophe will it cause? All the dude’s in the class will definitely turn into wolves. The scenario after that would be…..only the worst outcomes popped up in my mind. Tensai probably had thought out all of that and had decided such a penalty. 

「Fear not, D’arc. All you have to do is to not lose. Everything will be fine if you don’t lose.」

  The supersleuth, Ikkyuu Tensai, smiled daringly while looking at D’arc who was scared for his life. She is damn serious, she really is a devil. D’arc understood from Tensai’s malicious grin that he would have to do it if he loses. So his expression changed and he made up his mind. 

「So, Juugo. Let’s see, you have to——」

「Wha! ——! I can’t do that! 」

  I screamed at that impossible penalty.

「Alright, so that’ll be Juugo’s penalty.」

「Wait, not you too Nanana-chan!」

「You aren’t in the position to complain, Juugo. You are trying to make me do erotic things too aren’t you?」

「No, I don’t think its that erotic?」

「It’s erotic for me. I think that you should be dressed like—— and do ——」

「Wait, that’s a bit going too far…..」

「Alright, so taking in Nanana-dono’s opinion, it’s decided now.」

「W..wait, Tensai! I can’t do something like that no matter what!」

「It’s alright Juugo-kun.  All you have to do is to not lose. Everything will be fine if you don’t lose.」

  It was unexpected but even D’arc supported it and his eyes were quite serious. 

「So what will you be doing, Tensai-chan?」

  The last person remaining was Tensai who was the one who started this extreme penalty game.

「I will…..Let’s see, how about I cook food for everyone?」

「Huh? That’s bullshit! Do you think I would let you go with something easy like that!?」

「Yeah, Tensai! That’s so unfair!」

  Complained D’arc. 

  Tensai flitched at the sight of us complaining. 

「S..so, what should I do?」

  I was thinking about what to make her do and then an idea came up in my mind. 

「D’arc, you decide.」

「Huh? Me?」

「Yeah, you are always with Tensai. So, you can easily guess things that Tensai would hate to do. 」

「Hmmmm.」

  D’arc pondered for a while after I suggested that and then muttered. 

「Magical girl.」

「…..What?」

「Dress up as a magical girl.」

  That sounds embarrassing, but something like that…..

「S..s..st..stop messing around! There is no way I would do that!」

  Tensai panicked like crazy. It seemed like that was super effective. 

「Like there is this magical girl who is famous nowadays, right? The girl who wears a cute pink and white dress.」

「Yeah, I’ve seen that.」

「How about she dresses up like her?」

「I would never do that!」

  Tensai rejected it, it seemed as if she really didn’t want to do it. It was my first time hearing Tensai shout so loudly. 

「Why though? You always act and dress like supersleuths from the past. I don’t see much of a difference between the two. 」

「They are definitely different! Supersleuths are cool so it’s acceptable! B..b..but, m..magical girls are…..」

「Very cute right.」

  D’arc smiled gently and Tensai’s face turned all red. 

「N..n..no, that isn’t it! It’s not that I don’t want to wear it because it’s embarrassing to wear cute things! I just don’t want to dress up like girls who spew nonsense such as magic without having a shred of intellect!」

  It seems like she had lost her usual composure. And was shouting at her loudest with her real and fake reason mixed together. 

「Oh, yeah. The place would obviously be the middle of the shopping quarter.」

「D..D’arc, you fool! What are you saying…..」

「Oh and you have to think of an original spell and cast it out loud.」

「Wha, original!?」

「Yeah.」

  D’arc nodded and I tilted my head.

「Hey, D’arc? But wouldn’t people who know the real deal would figure out that her spell is wrong?」

「Yeah, so it would be a penalty where she would have to act like a miserable noob cosplayer who dressed exactly like the real deal but is casting the wrong spell. 」 

「Woah, that’s the worst.」

  I could imagine that it would be an extreme cringe. Wow like, D’arc has a devilish mind. 

「No! I really don’t want to do that!」

  This supersleuth always wants to be the center of attention but she is rejecting this opportunity to catch everyone’s eye. She must really not want to dress up like a magical girl. D’arc gently patted Tensai’s shoulder who was throwing a fit like a child. 

「It’s alright Tensai. I’ll give my best and sew the costume for you.」

「What is alright about that!」

「You don’t have to be so scared, Tensai. All you need to do is not lose, everything will be fine if you don’t lose.」

  D’arc smiled gently with empty eyes. It seemed like the penalty of wearing a girl’s swimsuit to school had awakened something inside him. 

  Well then…..

「So it is decided that Tensai will dress up as a magical girl and she will cast the spell for world peace in the middle of the shopping quarter for an hour and then sing the anime theme loudly.」

「Stop adding extra stuff! You are trying to take the advantage of the moment and making me do weirder stuff!」

「It’s alright Tensai. All you need to do is not lose, everything will be fine if you don’t lose.」

  And thus the hellish penalties were decided. 

  The next thing to decide were the rules of Daihinmin. Ddue to penalties being so extreme, there was a lot of commotion while deciding the rules. 

  If someone has the three of clubs then the game would start from them and then the next turn would be from the person sitting on their right. Two Jokers will be used. Along with the usual rule of ‘Revolusion’ the two major rules of ‘The eight of trump’ and ‘Jack back’ will be applied. On top of that there will be restrictions on the number marks on the cards depending on the situation.
