Well, thanks to Miria, we managed to get our hands on quite a big catch of both Camelia Oil and Pepper, so I know she’s excited to be leading the way when we went shopping.
「Breakfast will be left to Miria then.」
「Yes, definitely.」
Roxanne also seems to agree with my choice.
In this world where there are only two meals per day, there is nothing strange with eating fried food for breakfast. We are also working hard from the early morning, so I cannot even begin to imagine ourselves skipping breakfast entirely. If you change the oil, you have to dispose of the old one.
Until now, the oil used for stir-frying was taken out of the pan, and the oil was added to the pan when frying. This time I will change the cooking oil to Camellia Oil, so I will throw away all the remaining oil.
This is the first time I will be using waste oil.
The idea of destroying the environment probably doesn’t exist in this world, but it might not be a good idea to dump waste oil into the Ditch River.

As expected, there is no stock of Beeswax available in our house. Beeswax is an item dropped by Grass Bees though, so we can always get more of it later.
「Yes. You can put the oil in the pot.」
While talking about that with Sherry, Miria started frying fish. Even though it was such a big catch, she is frying it with a ghastly momentum.
The kitchen isn’t that big, so the temperature seems to have risen.
It was piled up more and more, until it became a splendid pile.
This isn’t good.
I should start making one as soon as possible as well. If I don’t make the fish fry by the time it’s finished, then Miria is going to get mad at me, since she probably wants to eat it as soon as possible.

With Vesta’s help, I cut the meat and vegetables into small pieces and fry them quickly. A simple stir-fry of meat and vegetables. It looks like we made it in time.
Right after putting the stir-fried meat and vegetables on the plate, Miria took out her last fried fish from the pan.

Roxanne, who agrees with me, also has a wry smile on her face. She’s just making breakfast so I can’t complain. Roxanne must have made the soup in a hurry too.
She moved to the table while Vesta carries the fish fry. Miria seems to have made more than she could actually eat on her own. When we all finally took our seats beside the table, Miria started alternating her gaze between the fish try and myself with incredibly expectant eyes.

She hurriedly finished distributing the soup, announced that breakfast was about to begin, and grabbed the fried fish. Even though we used Camellia Oil to make it, it looks like a normal fish fry.
There is not much difference in color and fragrance. Actually, I would be scared if there really was any. In the first place, the color is not the color of oil, but the color of burnt bread crumbs.
Even if there are purple or light blue fish flies, it may just be disgusting. Indistinguishable from eggplant tempura.
As for the smell, I think it smells faintly good, but it’s nothing special.
After Roxanne and Sherry, Miria reached out her hand for the fish fry, I also took a bite of it while observing them.

Whether it’s delicious or not, it’s good, but it’s actually subtle when it comes to how good it is. Basically, if you fry it in oil, it will definitely be delicious.

H-Hey, I don’t know what you’re talking about, but I don’t know how to describe this taste either.
Un. Is it good? Sure, it tastes a little sweet, but it’s not sickeningly sweet. I would say that this is just right on the sweetness scale.
Is it okay to use Camellia Oil then? Roxanne and the others seem to have a preconceived notion that camellia oil is delicious…. but I guess it ultimately doesn’t matter all that much. If everyone likes it, that’s fine.
We talk about other things while you eat.
「If you’re a Priest or a Shrine Maiden, you can heal the whole Party, right?」
「It would seem so.」
「That’s right.」
Roxanne and Sherry affirmed. That’s also what I heard from them originally.

「However, the Monk Job seems to be able to recover more.」
If everyone in the Party can be healed and the amount of recovery is about the same, Priest and Shrine Maiden Jobs can be considered superior to Monk, and there would be no advantage to choosing it over the other two. The only thing that might actually be different is the ease of doing it. That, and also the amount of MP that is used.
I haven’t heard that Priests and Shrine Maidens can only use recovery once a day, but as long as we’re not going to be on the brink of death then it should all be fine.
I hate that feeling of despair when you run out of MP. If I feel the exact same way as I was feeling in the beginning even after reaching a higher level, then that’s all the more reason for me to look for some way to fix that issue.
There might actually be Skills at higher levels that would require a fixed amount of half of my total MP to be used. If that’d be the case, then even at higher levels they wouldn’t be of much use to me.
「Well, that’s what it is. That’s it. I would also want to get a Priest or Shrine Maiden job.」
I cut out the main topic.
「A Shrine Maiden? Sounds good.」
「Uhm… I didn’t acquire it.」
「Let’s do it, desu!」
「I think we are going to be fine.」
Come to think of it, Sherry failed in her training to become a Shrine Maiden.
That’s not going to be a problem, but here’s the thing.
