Volume 13 Chapter 1 Part 2

That was an awful lot to say. Well, I’ve been pretending to work hard to get to all those faraway places when in reality I was using 「Warp」to travel around much more quickly and conveniently, but it’s not something that I should be saying around others.

「Rutina, do you think this guy will get the right to have his own peerage in the future? 」

「Yes. Of course.」 she replied.

「If that’s the case, then we should make the most of it while we still have the chance… but that is something that can wait for some other time in the future, since there are no signs it’s going to happen anytime soon… For the time being, you can still enter the Labyrinth of Nesco, or if you want to move to a different Labyrinth, you can move there. Do as you like. I’m not going to stop you. 」

While saying something about how matters can wait until the future, the old hag also gave me permission to enter a different Labyrinth if I wanted. The Labyrinth of Nesco is the one that the old hag asked us to enter first; but if she really thinks that me getting some achievements and making a name for myself is a matter of the distant future, then it should be fine to tell her that for the time being I’d like to keep on exploring the Labyrinth of Nesco.

Unless all of that was just a sarcastic remark, of course.

「There’s another member of our Party who is researching information about the Labyrinths for me. Can we take her to the library as well? 」

「Do as you like. 」

「Okay. 」

It seems we can bring Sherry with us as well. In my Party, we leave the gathering of all the information related to the Labyrinths to Sherry. If Rutina and I had been told that it was okay for only the two of us to go into the library and look things up, it would have been a complete disaster, since I cannot read the writing of this world at all. But since the old hag said that it’s okay to bring Sherry with us, we can just leave everything to her, as always.

「Understood. 」

「I’ll be counting on you in the future then. Well? What are you still standing around here for? Hurry up and get a move on already! 」

She really likes to comment on every little thing, does she?

「Then, this way, please. 」

「Thank you. 」

We were then led out of the room by the person standing outside. The annex that the old hag was talking about really seemed to be a separate building from her mansion. After going outside, we entered a different building. Well, maybe they’re actually connected inside; but for the time being, we were shown to a different entrance.

The inside of the annex looked like a large bookstore or a typical fantasy-world library. It had two floors, and both the first and second one looked like they were filled with all kinds of different books and documents. There were tables and chairs at the front of the first floor where you could sit and read, as well. This really was similar to a reference room of the Imperial Liberation Society.

「The walls on this side are not made with shielding cement. You have received permission from Milady to enter this place, so feel free to use it at any time you see fit. There is nothing here that requires any kind of special secrecy; but if at all possible, we would ask you to please refrain from bringing any third parties other than your own Party Members here. 」

In other words, there is information that requires secrecy, but it is probably stored somewhere else. Although apparently only those with permission can enter this library, is it still one meant for general use? Maybe there is yet another floor above or below with the special documents and books. Perhaps such things are given to the interested parties directly by the old hag herself?

「I understand. 」

「Thank you for your understanding. 」

「Of course. Shall we go back for now, Rutina? 」

「Yes, let’s. 」

The person who guided us left, so we decided to go back home as well. After all, I can’t get anything started without showing the documents related to the Labyrinths to Sherry.

「Welcome back, master. 」 said Roxanne in greeting as we entered the house.

「Yes, I’m back. Is Sherry here? 」

「Yes, I am here. What is it, master? 」

「A high-ranking member of Rutina’s family has given me the right to access the library at her mansion where all the information about the Labyrinths available to Rutina’s family is stored. I’d like you to go there with me, so are you free to do so right now? 」

「Yes. I will be ready in a moment, so just give me a minute. 」 Sherry said as she left the room. She’s probably going to get some memo paper or a pen for making notes or something.

What should I do in the meantime? Of course, there can be only one answer to that.

「Rutina, do you want me to put your equipment on for you? 」

「Y-Yes, I do. 」

「Uh-huh, sure. 」

I like to do this whenever I get the chance… no. This is a precious piece of Rutina’s equipment, so not wearing it whenever she can would be a huge waste. She should be wearing it anytime, anywhere, and at all times.

It’s a piece of equipment that the old hag gave her, but it’s surprisingly useful. Just having this equipment on will help her to withstand any kind of attack the monsters in the Labyrinths might throw at her. I put this wonderful piece of equipment on Rutina. It’s equipment that will be in direct contact with Rutina’s skin, and that’s why I have to put it on gently, carefully, with my own hands.

I put the necklace around Rutina’s neck, let it fall over her clothes, and then I plunged both of my hands into the depths of her clothes and groped her breasts. This feels good. Their sensation is irresistible. I gently wrap my arms around the smooth, lush mountain range and aim for its peaks.

I don’t put the clip on them right away, since I don’t want to neglect my warm-ups. I rubbed the peaks of Rutina’s breasts gently with the tips of my fingers, preparing them for what was about to come.

When she started to let out soft sighs, I knew she was fully prepared. Oops! We were just getting to the best part, but then Sherry came back and interrupted us.
