It wasn’t a ship for people. It was a ship for the Obon festival, floating on the shores of Lake Biwa. It was a spirit ship, gorgeously decorated with countless lanterns.

「..Sagara Yoshiharu. Where are we? 」

「It’s Obon, so It’s a spirit boat meant to send off the spirits of the dead to the afterlife. We’re lucky that an unmanned boat was floating on Lake Biwa. It seems like I’m really protected by the spirits of the water. 」

Sunmata, Kizugawa, the Setouchi Sea, and today Lake Biwa. It was the fourth time when water saved Yoshiharu from trouble.

「Since you don’t like water, it was a bit dangerous. But we can’t go back to land now. 」

「I’ve never heard of a spirit boat. And a boat big enough to carry two people at that. 」
