An Unexpected Hostage

「TAKABA. Asia Liberation Unit. Sortie!」

On the deck of the Cimon-class, countless mechanized fighter-vehicles awaited.
They were trike-type combat support vehicles: two front wheels, one rear.

Originally prototyped as support vehicles during the Asia War, they had since been improved to the point of being almost unrecognizable. Aside from the limitation that only the Lanius line could fully bring out their potential, they were now equipped with respectable attack and defense. Their most prominent feature was the full cowling that resembled a motorcycle—doubling as a defensive shield.

「This will be the first battle for the TRT-R1 Soujin and Tensu.」

The TRT designation stood for TAKABA Leaning Trike. As Lanius-only units, they carried the R1 model code as well. Soujin had been named after Hyoue’s twin blades.

The unit was composed solely of twenty-four TAKABA employees. Hyoue alone piloted a C-type Block 3. He named his machine Tensu after the ability born from his own MCS
