Kou and Hyoue returned to Bardo to discuss countermeasures for fighting the Pioneering Era’s Worker.
「Unlike you guys, I don’t have a mobile base. I’ll be fighting with my current loadout.」
「Same here. Like hell we’ve got the luxury to do modifications just for a Worker.」
As Hyoue pointed out, different armor or not, it was still a Worker.
Upgrading to fight it wouldn’t break any rules—but their pride wouldn’t allow it.
「You mentioned having a plan, Kou-kun.」
「Hey, don’t keep it to yourself. Let’s hear it.」
Prompted by Hyoue, Kou gave a nod and began sharing his strategy.
「It’s not really anything that fancy. That Worker’s gotta be way heavier than standard Silhouettes. The armor material is unknown, but it clearly has more mass than it looks.」
「Huh? Even if it’s heavy, it can’t be more than 30 tons, right?」
