Chapter 89: Interlude: Barbar While Gaia’s Away – The Kiritai Tribe

While Gaia and his companions were off on their journey, the Barbar back home were hard at work.

In the main settlement of the Blumunt Tribe, Athos was directing the collection of earth beneath the floors, while his wife Kate led the women in refining saltpeter using the old-earth method.

The other tribes were just as busy.

Jam-making, maple syrup collection and boiling, crafting containers for the jam and syrup, firewood gathering, charcoal production, there was no shortage of work.

In the port town of Orb, the men of the Lizardfolk dove into the sea to build piers, while the women became divers and harvested seafood.

And the busiest of all were the Kiritai Tribe.

The Kiritai were thriving in their new territory.
