If those were the conditions, then I do believe that I have been able to come up with a certain strategy here.

And if we manage to play this situation right, that strategy even has a huge degree of being successful.

「I am going to be fighting by myself, of course. As for you, you can come at me all at once, if you really want to do that.」

But with that being taken care of, this strategy of mine really has a chance to be successful.

「Now, as for the other rules: there will be no time limit this time around. We will only go for one round. If I lose, I will give up taking Kanade-chan back home with me. But if your party ends up losing, Rein-san, I will take Kanade-chan back home with me. Is that alright with you?」

I didn’t give Suzu-san an immediate answer, but looked at everyone else beforehand.

Everyone nodded with a coy smile on their faces, as if to say that they don’t mind and that they would take care of it.

I then looked back at Suzu-san again and nodded my head.

「Yes, that’s fine with us.」

「Great. That’s a really good reply. And also…… Fufufu, that’s a really great look in your eyes right there. I like it a lot. If it wasn’t about Kanade-chan, who knows? I might have been inclined to actually talk this matter out and settle it peacefully.」

「Well, if you ever wanted to call it quits and talk instead, feel free to do so. We will welcome that solution with open arms.」

「Yes, that’s right. That being said, I think it would be nice for you to throw Kanade-chan a nice farewell party.」

「Oh, make no mistake, there will be a farewell party. But it will be the one for you, Suzu-san.」

「Fufu. You really are one interesting fellow, I will give you that. The fact that you won’t take a step back against someone like me and you have the look in your eyes as if to defy me…… Forgetting that it’s to bring Kanade-chan back home, I’m genuinely looking forward to fighting you, Rein-san.」

「The key for the success of this strategy is Tina.」

「Did you know? Cat Spirit Tribe members might be the Ultimate Species with the strongest physical attacks, but they are extremely weak to all sorts of magic-related attacks. So, we’ll stop Suzu-san’s movement with our actions, and we will try to have Tina possess her.」

The color of understanding spread across everyone’s faces.

When we first met Tina, it was none other than Kanade, the Cat Spirit Tribe, who said it herself.
