「So many people out there, this could be really troublesome……」

I made some temporary contracts with a bunch of small animals around here, just like I have been doing until just now.
Once again, I asked them to sneak around and make some rustling noises.
「Huh? What’s that noise?」

「…… Alright. The two of you, go check it out. It could be some sort of a diversion. The rest of you will stay here and secure the entrance.」
We were able to pull two of them away from the entrance, but the remaining eight were still there, keeping their guard up at all times.
And the two that went towards the rustling noise went back after five minutes or so.
「This…… is some truly ironclad defense they have there.」
