Well, as expected of Ultimate Species, I should say.

The Spirit Tribe has the highest Magic Power among the Ultimate Species.

Compared to the second-ranked Dragon Tribe, it’s several times that amount and is the reason why they are reigning supreme when it comes to Magic Power, with no other race even being able to come close to their numbers.

Sora and Luna each held their palms over the men’s heads and chanted the spell.

Thern, pale grains of light swirled fluffily around the men’s heads.

Luna then held out her head towards me, a really demanding look shining in her eyes.

Just as requested, I gently patted Luna’s head and stroked her hair.

Sora was also glancing at me with expectations in her eyes.

To be exact, she was looking at my hand that was still resting on Luna’s head.

I’m sorry, but we can’t waste any more time here. Maybe later, once we get that entire matter sorted out.

Let’s have them put up with that fact, and promise them some nice headpats later.

「Alright, now that we have that matter all settled, let’s get a move on and head inside of the mine.」

「Roger that!」

「Just promise me that you are all going to be careful, okay?」

「Hm?　What are you talking about, Rein?」

「I think that those guys have already realized that we are here and that we are coming to get them.」

「Come to think of it, how did they find out about us in the first place?　That part is still a mystery to me, no matter how much and how hard I think about it.」

「Nyaah…… Could it be that they have been watching us from somewhere?」

「Actually, Kanade, your guess is more or less correct.」

「Yay~♪!」

「But, there were no guards to be found while we were approaching this place. And there was no sign of stealth magic being cast anywhere nearby, otherwise I would have noticed that right away.」

「So, how do you know that we were being watched?」
