CHAPTER 98: FOR A COMPANION’S SAKE PART 1

Everyone made a rather surprised expression upon hearing that shocking revelation.

I was trying to find the right words to say something here……

So the place where we were gathered was only filled with awkward silence.

「My old Master was this really fat man, but with a truly unique and distinct personality to himself….. Tina spoke up in a completely indifferent tone.

Maybe she decided to speak to us about it in an as-a-matter-of-fact tone so that the already heavy atmosphere wouldn’t become even heavier.

Kanade and Tanya both jumped out of the shadows, each hitting the different gatekeeper to the gut, knocking them out cold.

The gatekeepers fell to the ground, their consciousness completely faded away.

Seeing this, Tina started to panic even more than before.

「H-Hey, guys!? What are you even……!? D-Don’t tell me!? Are you really going to just charge right in just like that!? Are you crazy!? Please, think about what you are going to do!」
