「Come to think of it, Zipek might hear the commotion in front of the house and use that time to escape through the back. We have to cover that side of the house as well, just to be on the safe side.」

「Sora, Luna. Take care of the back exit. Don’t let anyone escape, no matter what.」

「Yes, sir!」

「Umu! Leave it to us! You won’t be disappointed!」

Casting a flight spell, Sora and Luna flew to the back of the house in an instant.

Good. With that, there will be no holes in the dragnet.

Nina’s power flowed into the dagger through our linked hands.

The dagger started to shine in an ominous red color and emitted a flame-like aura from its blade.

I swung the dagger down with all my might.

A raging force swallowed the gate in its entirety and blew it out of its hinges, sending it flying.

The surrounding iron fence and walls were also blown away from the sheer force of the blast.

The entrance to the house also ended up being a total mess, as if a meteorite had fallen right on top of it.

「W-What the heck!? What are you guys even doing!?」

「We had to break down the gate to get it out of our way. There was no other choice.」

「Don’t say such things as if it was the most natural thing in the world to say!」

「Why are you acting so agitated, Tina? Was that really such a big of a surprise to you?」

「Yes! Yes it was! I mean, where did that whole “stealth mission” you were talking about a moment ago went!? Also, you can’t make such a loud ruckus here! What about the people inside of the house! They are going to find out that we are coming for them!」

If nothing else, this was going to be our declaration of war, so to speak.

It’s a threat to Zipek that I’m going to beat the crap out of him, and that we are coming for him right now.

And I honestly hope that this is going to come to him as at least a little surprise.

I hope that he is going to be frightened and scared beyond all measure.

Otherwise, this will be just plain old boring.

He was the one who made Tina suffer.

So now the time has come for him to pay the price for the sins that he had committed.

「Master Rein, I thought that you were a pretty gentle and mild-mannered gentleman, but I see that you can be pretty brutal and reckless when you want to be, huh?」
