Episode 44: Establishing the Clan
Next, we lined up at the 【Clan and Party Reception】 counter, and when it was our turn, Brad, acting as our representative, spoke to the staff member.
「We are considering establishing a clan. Could you explain the process in detail?」
「So you wish to establish a clan. First, let me explain the difference between a clan and a party. A party consists of fixed members who work together, whereas in a clan, members can freely form parties with each other. Therefore, we recommend clan establishment for those who can form at least two parties from their members.」
「There’s no problem with that. We’ll be gathering more members soon, but for now, we want to establish the clan first.」
「Understood. To establish a clan, you need to fill out this clan establishment application form and pay a registration fee of five gold coins, plus an annual information update fee of five gold coins.」
「Got it. We will be applying with just the five of us today, but we’ll add the remaining members later. Is that acceptable?」
「Yes, that’s fine. Additional member registration only requires an application form and incurs no extra cost.」
「Thank you. Here are the ten gold coins for the registration and update fees. Please proceed with the application.」

I thought establishing a clan would involve more rigorous scrutiny, but it turned out to be a surprisingly simple process, which was a relief.
Going back and forth to the association repeatedly would have been a hassle.

「Thank you. We’ll do our best to meet those expectations.」
And so, we established our clan, 【Light of Hope】.
From this day on, we began our activities in the Tiarad Empire in earnest.

Episode 45: Starting the Clan
The day after establishing the clan, a meeting was held at my mom’s house.
I was also included in this meeting for the first time.
Since I had learned the full truth and because my mom and I were to become the leaders of the 【Shadow】, the 【Shadow】 requested my participation.
The agenda for this meeting was to discuss the operational policy of the adventurer clan and how to use my powers.
「Everyone is here. Brad, please start.」
「Understood. First, regarding the activities of the adventurer clan, I propose focusing on dungeon exploration. With Celestia-sama’s abilities, I believe this won’t pose any issues and will help her grow further through these challenges.」
「Is there no danger of Celestia standing out too much?」
「No, I believe she will attract less attention inside dungeons. As for the threat of monsters, Mystique and I will be there to ensure her safety. Please rest assured.」
「I understand.」
The activities of the adventurer clan were set to start the next day, marking the official beginning of our clan’s operations.
「Next, let’s talk about my powers. So, I used 〘Space Magic〙 to create a magic bag, and I can now also teleport.
The magic bag changes its capacity based on the user’s magical power, but the time-stop function inside the bag is independent of that, so it works fine.
As for teleportation, I can teleport to any place I remember without a teleportation magic circle if it’s just me. For teleporting multiple people, it requires a magic circle at both the departure and arrival points. However, this consumes a lot of my magical power, so about five people is my limit.」
When I explained my powers, everyone, including Mystique, was left speechless.
「Celestia-sama… if this power were to leak out, it would be extremely dangerous. Even among the 【Shadow】, please do not disclose this to anyone outside of us.」

The meeting continued with further discussions about my powers.
Brad-san, Mystique-sensei, Roy-san, and Yuri-san decided to have one of the magic bags I created, while others would not be informed about them.
We also agreed to install teleportation magic circles at new bases as we expand our operations.

Episode 46: First Dungeon
Starting today, we are going to begin our dungeon exploration by taking on a subjugation request from the Hunter Association.
The members heading to the dungeon this time are me, Brad-san, Mystique-sensei, and Yuri-san.
Roy-san will stay at our base to guard my mom.
In Spica City, there is a dungeon called the 【Spica Magic Cave】.
Only adventurers of B rank or higher are permitted to enter the dungeon.
Since I’m C rank, I normally wouldn’t be allowed in, but with Brad-san, an A rank adventurer, accompanying me, I can enter without any issues.
The dungeon’s monsters get stronger as you progress further.
For a C rank like me, the appropriate level is around the 10th floor.
However, since this is my first dungeon experience, we didn’t set any specific goals.
Once we were ready to head to the dungeon, we set out from the longhouse towards the Spica Cave.
Before leaving, I gave my mom a hug and said my usual goodbyes.
「It looks like we’re ready to go, so let’s depart.」
「Mom, I’m off. I love you!」
「Celestia, I love you too!」
Yes, my mom now calls me Celestia instead of Selen.
It’s the name given to me by the Holy Empress, who is my grandmother, so she always wants to call me Celestia.
The way to the dungeon from Spica City is by carriage, and it takes about an hour to reach the dungeon entrance by round-trip carriage.
In front of the dungeon is a Hunter Association outpost, where you automatically accept a quest upon completing the entry procedures.
Brad-san handled the entry procedures, so we were finally ready to enter the dungeon.
As someone who loves fantasy novels, I’ve always wanted to enter a dungeon.
So, my excitement was through the roof even before entering!

Episode 47: Selen’s Unrivaled Power
After entering the dungeon and confirming that no one was around, Brad-san spoke to me.
「While we’re on hunter activities, I’ll call you Selen, if that’s alright.」
「Yeah, that’s fine with me.」
After telling me that he would call me Selen, Brad-san gave a brief explanation about the dungeon.
「When you defeat monsters in the dungeon, they drop magic stones and items before disappearing. Sometimes, they might drop a magic core, though it’s rare, and similarly, rare items might drop but don’t count on it too much.」
「Hmm, I have pretty good luck, so I might end up getting some rare items.」
As we were having this conversation, I sensed the presence of monsters and reported it to Brad-san.
「Brad, there are four monsters approaching from the front.」
Brad-san looked surprised at the accuracy of my detection.
「Selen, your detection range is quite extensive. I haven’t sensed anything yet… Oh, there are four goblins. Your detection is incredibly precise…」
While Brad-san was impressed, Mystique-sensei gave me instructions.
「Young lady, take them all down by yourself.」
「Got it. Leave it to me. Air Blade!」
The wind blade I unleashed spun at high speed, slashing through the goblins.
Without shields to defend themselves, the goblins were cut in half and disappeared, leaving their drops behind.
「Selen, seeing your magic in action is truly astonishing. If you have the mana to spare, it’s best if you keep taking them down.」
「Leave it to me!」
Brad-san, seeing my magic for the first time, spoke to me with a surprised expression.
Beside him, Mystique-sensei, who seemed unfazed, spoke to Brad-san.
「The young lady’s magic is incredibly powerful. You might think it consumes a lot of mana, but that was just a basic spell. It barely used any mana at all.」
「That was a basic spell? I thought it was an advanced one…」
「Well, it’s best to leave it to the young lady.」
We continued to defeat every monster that appeared with magic, pushing through the dungeon in an almost unstoppable state.
In no time at all, we reached the fifth floor of the dungeon.
