Chapter 1.4. Land of minotaurs.

Minotaurs were bustling about Hornun streets, preparing for Festival of Marduk’s Blessing! Stalls line cobblestones selling trinkets, treats and ale. Children darted excitedly between legs of towering bull-headed warriors, clad in ceremonial garb.

In square before temple stood stone platform, adorned with offerings. Bouquets of flowers, goblets overflowing with wine, glimmering artifacts from afar – all tribute to bull God himself! Priests chanted incantations, as smoke billowed from braziers, thick with spices and incense.

Nearby pen holds Nemean Lion captured by Lilith and her mercenaries, was waiting patiently for fateful moment! Guarded round-the-clock by honorable minotaurs, sworn to protect sacred beast, until ritual commences.

Tents dotted throughout plaza to house guests of honor – nobles, ambassadors and important merchants, summoned to witness historic occasion! Servants flittered between them, bearing refreshments and gossip whispered behind hands.
