While we somehow managed to get rid of the bomb from the Forbidden Library, I wondered what about Ruzarc and Fernando?

Personally, I was sure that since Mare was there with him then everything would be alright, but…… I mean…… She might have looked calm and composed, but she was also a bit absent-minded at times, not to mention that her laid back attitude would also be a problem every now and then……

Just like Drake previously said, a typical Magic Bag can simply store more items inside of itself than a normal bag would. The storage capacity increases depending on the bag’s rarity, but I have never heard of an effect that can stop the time of the stored items completely.

And since Ruzarc was so familiar and well-informed when it comes to Magic Tools, those revelations surely sounded more and more confusing to him.

(But anyways, we actually managed to handle the current situation! So all’s well that ends well, huh? And with that being said, what happened to Fernando?)

I see. I really am glad I had Mare accompany Ruzarc as his guard.

Mare is good at using a type of Dark Magic called the Illusion Magic. She probably approached Fernando and put him to sleep without him even noticing what was happening.

(If Mare-san had not been here to assist me, I surely would have been killed by now…… Ah! Now that I think about it, why didn’t you tell me that Mare-san was keeping me company inside of my shadow!? She was there on your orders, right, Aun!?)

When Ruzarc said that he wanted to “save” Fernando, he most probably meant it both socially, as well as us sparing his life.

The reason Ruzarc asked me to look after Fernando was because he would definitely have to be executed if things continue as they were. However, I could not simply imagine Fernando, who tried to blow up the castle without hesitation the moment he decided that his goal could not be achieved, would want to choose to survive on such humiliating terms……

(Yes, that’s right. It seems that the reinforcements from Leculia and Miralda are scheduled to arrive tomorrow. With just the remnants without their leader, we should be able to suppress them with enough manpower.)
