And just like that I was back on the 19th floor, and the same scenery I saw just two days ago would spread out before my eyes.

However, this time around I did not feel the same kind of despair that I felt those two days ago, and right about now everything about this place felt entirely different to me.

「Those two days ago I was only level 22 when I came here, but now I am up to level 45. I have acquired some new Skills as well, and my Skills levels have all increased across the board. I still have some potions and other recovery items left on me, just to be on the safe side. But……」

I have ran various simulations inside of my head before coming back here, but I could not shake off the worry that I did not actually have a way to land an effective hit on the Boss, or had something that would give me the advantage here.

The Boss Area was a level above the floor that it was based on in terms of difficulty. So if I was to let my guard down, I could be killed in an instant.

This was because, and this was a piece of information that was widely circulated around the entire town…… the Boss Room of this Intermediate level “Tower of the Wolf” was a floor where five Black Wolves were led by the “Great Silver Wolf,” a mutated kind of the usual Silver Wolf.

The Great Silver Wolf…… It was a High Rank B type of monster, and it was a powerful enemy that had high intelligence to lead its own kind, even though monsters do not usually gather in groups like that. And it had speed that was unbecoming of its large size and incredible power due to its large size. If you really wanted to defeat it, usually you would need to have a party that was well-equipped and well-coordinated.

The basic theory for this fight was to first deal with the surrounding Black Wolves one by one, and then use your numerical advantage to hold back the lone Great Silver Wolf and defeat it as such. The only Adventurers who were crazy enough to try to beat it solo on their first try were the members of Master Aun’s “Seiha”, each of whom had the strength of a thousand men behind their belt.

「But in order for me to be able to call myself Master Aun’s student and disciple…… I guess I should be able to do that much, huh.」

If that was going to be the case here, I needed to make up for what I lacked in order to pass this exam. ……Yes, I needed to acquire the offensive power to beat the Boss solo.

「But I can’t believe I can gain attack power so easily…… Besides, all my stats are growing at an average rate, and my DEX (Dexterity) and AGI (Agility) are only a little bit higher than the rest of my stats.」

To put it in a positive way, I was the type who could do pretty much anything as long as I put my mind to it, but to put it in a negative way, I was also a Jack of All Trades, Master of None kind of a guy……

「Not to mention that I do not have any kind of skills that would allow me to attack my opponent directly…… Hm? Wait, this skill……」

As I was checking my stats, an unfamiliar Skill caught my eye all of a sudden.

・「Form Transformation Lv.1」: Changes the form of any given body part. Depending on the Skill level, it is also possible to change into more and more complex shapes.

This skill was certainly not there when I last checked it on the 17th floor. That meant that it was something I had newly acquired by the time I reached all the way back to the 19th floor.

I tried using it, but at level 1, it seemed to simply harden any part of the body that was specifically chosen. It was a useful skill for the sake of defense for sure, but what I needed right now is a skill that would help me with boosting my attack power.

So, does that mean that this skill is actually a huge miss right now……?

「If you really want to get stronger, you should think about how to use your tail properly? It’s a great individuality and characteristic to have, after all.」’

As I was thinking about this, I suddenly remembered Master Aun’s helpful advice. A few days ago, I had only thought of my tail as a type of decoy that would help me to escape from some really tough situations, but now I could actually call it my own “individuality” and “ unique characteristic”.

However, it was really difficult to use my tail as an attack weapon just by hardening it. Even if I hardened it and hit the enemy with it like a blunt weapon, the reach of such a makeshift weapon was short and I needed to turn my back to the enemy to do so. It was more realistic to attack with a normal weapon.

「The usual method now would be to give it a poison trait on attack attack and then detach it from my body. If I detach it…… Huh? Maybe the tail remains hard even after it is detached……?」’

If this “Transformation” rule also applies to the detached tail, then for me, who could precisely control the severed tail with the use of the “Remote Control Lv.5,” the attack range would be incredibly long. Also, now that my Skills level has increased and I have more time to control them, I could control multiple tails at the same time……

「Well, for starters, how about we give this thing a go……?」

I tried using “Transformation Level 1” and found a hardened tail rolling on the floor.

「Really?! So you are saying I can remotely control this tail like this…… No, but can I hit it at high speed to increase its attack power? No, if I remotely control it, would it sink even deeper into the enemy’s flesh…? And if I combine that with a Poison trait Skill……」

As I was trying out various things at the wall of the dungeon, a Kobold and a Black Wolf appeared and popped up in the line of fire, and the tail, hardened by the “Transformation” skill, hit the Black Wolf while rotating at high speed.

— The upper half of the Black Wolf was instantly blown away.

— Along with a splash, flesh and blood splattered on the wall and floor.

— The Kobold and I stared at each other in shock for a few seconds.

「Wait, this is really bad!」

The Kobold then came back to his senses and raised his sword, running towards me.

I quickly detached the second tail and used the “Transformation” on it to intercept it, and with one hit the Kobold also turned into a stain on the floor, and my level increased by one.

「No way…… My tail is actually so strong!?」
