Chapter 533: Information on the Land of Horses

「I believe it was neigh-glected underground because, well, they are horses. 」

Occasionally, but not too infrequently, we gather for card games at the Canum house. It started with us simply catching up with each other about what’s going on with our lives, but now we’re usually doing it over light games or meals.

Today’s gathering included Retze, Dinosso, Butler, Hauron and Khan. Khan doesn’t play much; most of the time he prefers to simply listen to our conversations. Ah, but he does seem to like strategy games like chess.

Today, we’re playing Othello. Me vs. Retze, Hauron vs. Dinosso, while Khan and Butler watch. We do have another board, but the table’s too small. Sometimes we split up, with Khan sitting separately, but the whole point is to chat, so we usually stick together at first.
