Chapter 34 – Entrance Examination – part 6

She took a metal stake out of her pocket and threw it into the air.

Cutting through the air with tremendous force, the stake rises high into the sky.

「… I just launched it 1000 meters into the sky.」

While preparing her sword, Cordelia asked,

「Launched…? What did you launch?」

「A 30 centimeter long, 3 centimeter wide iron stakeー I launched the Spear of God」

Responded Lilith.

「And…?」Cordelia asks, 「So what… does it matter?」

「The thing I shot up… will inevitably come down.」Lilith says, 「It’s a metal stake boosted by both gravity and magic, falling faster than the speed of sound… The Spear of God that never misses. You can’t possibly defend against it.」

Hearing those words, Cordelia’s expression twists with unease.

And so, with that and other such things, Lilith and I ended up enrolling in the Athena Magic Academy.
