Immoral Sisters Chapter 5 Part 2
Wearing a red suit and a rogue, right about now Yumi looked like a normal businesswoman, unlike what she would look like inside of the President Nogawa’s office. Her feminine charm was still there alright, but without all of that repulsive, defiant, and glamorous vibe she had to herself just two days ago.
She also had a very peculiar kind of expression on her face at the current moment. As if some sort of tremendous weight had been finally lifted off of her shoulders.
「……I have also destroyed all the information that President Nogawa had on you three, Yukie-san, Rumi-chan, and Tomoko-chan. So that way, even if there will be a prolonged and detailed investigation on the President Nogawa, it won’t pose any sort of problems for you three. The Police won’t bother you at all. Of course, I have also destroyed the photos in question as well, so rest assured.」
Hearing about the incriminating photos being taken care of, Yukie could finally let out a deep sigh of relief.
「As for the punishment that President Nogawa is going to face for his crimes, it is something that is yet to be determined. As for me, I was of course dismissed from my office post-haste. Now, this only leaves one matter to be settled……」
Yumi hesitated for a moment out there when she arrived at the only name that would be the cause of dispute here. Everyone in the Kitazawa family cared about that person to some extent, and even though she knew that, Yumi could not help it but to be a little bit perplexed after seeing Tomoko’s serious gaze locked at her. Especially since she was sitting right next to her.
「Now then, this leaves only the matter of Taketo-kun.
At the current moment, he continues to live in the President Nogawa’s house.
But as to what is going to happen with him in the nearby future…… I am afraid that it is something that will be decided after the matter of President Nogawa’s arrest manages to calm down.」
Not knowing what kind of impression Taketo’s current situation would leave on Tomoko, Yumi was trying to choose her words really carefully, but even with that it was really uneasy and difficult for her to do.
Tomoko folded her hands on her thighs and lowered her serious gaze, looking straight at her feet. So in the end, Taketo was still going to be all alone.
Inevitably, that thought continued to sink deeper and deeper into Tomoko’s mind, putting dark shade over it.
「Mother.」
Although her mind was not fully made up on this quiet yet, Tomoko opened her mouth without really knowing what it was that she wanted to say here. She was hoping that by speaking up from the bottom of her heart, she would be able to fully understand the feelings that were swelling and whirling deep inside of her chest. Or at least she was hoping for being able to find the answer she was looking for.
「…… Would it be possible for Taketo-san to live in here with the three of us?」
Tomoko’s sudden words caused the entire living room to fall silent for a long moment, and then the turmoil of the three women that was firmly bottled up inside of them for all this time finally started to leak out, filling the atmosphere here.
But Tomoko was no joking here. She was dead serious, and at that moment she was sure about her feelings. Tomoko did not even need to know what her words would eventually lead up to. However, she wanted to be there for Taketo in his hour of need, and she did not want to leave him all on his own like that, to fend for himself.
It was only showing just how powerful her desire to be with Taketo was, allowing her to firmly stand by her own beliefs.
「For him…… to live together with us……?」
It was Yumi-san who raised a bewildered voice first out of all the women currently sitting in the living room. She held her hand lightly around her chin and lowered her gaze as if thinking about something really intensely. She then cast her uncharacteristically peering gaze at Yukie, who was sitting right across from her.
Yukie was also greatly confused by Tomoko’s sudden words. Tomoko would normally be the kind of person who would withdraw herself from the family business because she would be hesitant to say anything that would contradict the wishes of other family members. However, this time around, the expression on her face was directed at Yukie and she would not avoid looking at her mother, with a clearer tone than any expression she had ever had before.
But that was beside the point right about now. Because truth to be told, Tomoko’s words were voicing Yukie and Rumi’s own exactly the same thoughts. And so, before anyone really knew it, the existence of Taketo had gained a certain place among the three of them for good. And more than anyone else out there, Yukie knew that what Tomoko was feeling for Taketo was genuine and real. And that she was feeling the same way.
「…… Do you really understand?」
Now, even though Tomoko was unable to properly dress her own feelings into words, and was unable to name them all properly, it would seem to her that all three of them had that one thing in common: their desires were one and they were speaking as one right now. Of that she was absolutely true.
And so, Tomoko nodded her head deeply and firmly with a strong conviction backing her action.
「Now then, would something like that be alright with you…… Yumi-san?」
「H-Huh……? Wait, are you actually being serious right now……?」
Even Yumi seemed to be so surprised and taken aback by Yukie’s sudden words that she simply asked her that question in return, as if to make absolutely sure here. But after a short while, Yukie only nodded her head once more, this time even firmer than before.
After basically confirming with one another that they were of one mind about that matter, Yukie, Rumi, and Tomoko looked at Yumi with the same determined expressions painted all over their faces. Seeing something like that, Yumi was finally able to relax and smiled warmly. It would seem that she was also certain that such a solution would be for the best here.
「…… Very well. I understand.」
Hearing Yumi’s words, Tomoko was finally able to smile in an earnest way.
「Well then, with all of that taken out of the way, I will contact you once more on a later date.」
Upon leaving the Kitazawa family’s household, Yumi was feeling somewhat relieved with this development.
Yumi was also worried about Taketo, his future and what he was going to do from now on. On one hand, he was the President Nogawa’s son, so she knew that he would be alright in the end. But even so, there were still a whole lot of things that needed to be said and done before his future would finally be secured.
But at the current moment, maybe now he would finally be able to have the kind of family life that he always wanted. Yumi turned around at once and lightly walked towards Taketo’s house. She was going to convey the offer of the Kitazawa family to him, and see how he would choose to respond to it.
After that development, a few days have already passed.
Tomoko and Rumi spent their every day at school as per usual, buying ingredients for their daily meals and going back home together. At dinner time, they would sit around the table together with their mother as much as possible, and after dinner, they would drink tea together in the living room. Just like before.
However, unlike before their ordeal, there was now a lone man joining them in those daily activities. Yukie, Rumi, and Tomoko were the only women in the house, and their common acquaintance, Taketo, was warmly welcomed into the family.
The living room, the dining table in the kitchen, the entrance to the house that everyone in the house used on an everyday basis.
The whole household seemed to have been turned into a completely different, brighter color just with the addition of a single lone man.
Also, with the addition of Taketo into the Kitazawa family’s everyday routine, some completely new and never before seen activities were added into the equation.
Right before dinner and right after the tea that would come afterwards. Sometimes right after Rumi and Tomoko would come home from school, or even in the morning before they would go there together. It would take place every time when they would have an opportunity for it.
「T-Taketo…… -san……」
Yukie’s knees were resting on the floor right next to Taketo’s bare feet, who was sitting on the sofa right in the middle of the Kitazawa family’s living room, and she moaned his name with a lustrous voice.
