Things had taken a weird turn. There I was, without a scarf or gloves, walking under the freezing sky toward a cemetery that looked cold just from the atmosphere alone.

I walked between rows of gravestones and wooden grave markers until I reached an open area. A massive tree, easily several centuries old, stood there. Seriously, why were we doing this outside in the cold?

Sera and Saras—two girls with long, beautiful hair—were glaring at each other beside the graves.

Next to them was Haruna, holding a few laundry poles for some reason. Eu wasn’t here. She was probably still at home, cozying up in the kotatsu.

“A little more to the right. Yeah, over by that tree!”

The girl with the twitching cowlick barked orders at me. I reluctantly walked over to the big tree in the graveyard.
