“The main girl and her companions… feel so alive. Even though it’s a fictional work… it feels so real. I… I’m moved.”

Hiramatsu looked up at Nene with those lovely, moist eyes.

Nene gave a shy smile. “It’s not that big of a deal, really.”

Hiramatsu’s straightforward gaze seemed to embarrass her, and she slipped back to her nap.

“The girl’s happy ending is waiting,” I said. “We’ve got to get her there as soon as possible.”

“Yeah… you’re right,” Hiramatsu said, pumping her fist.

Eu, who had been quietly watching Hiramatsu the whole time, left a small note in front of her: Thank you.

“Kanami, let’s get to work too.”

“Yeah. We’ve had enough fun anyway.”

Influenced by Hiramatsu’s energy, Tomonori and Mihara put away the video game and came over.

I split up the tasks for the three of them, and we got to work silently.
