No matter how big of an issue that might turn out to be, this world still needs people with their talents. They have already established their own places and reasons for existence in the world, only to have their lives exposed to danger by another world that would seek to exploit them. Sensing that this was what Izayoi was worrying about, Pritt called out to him while scratching her cheek.

「Stop screwing around with me, will ya?」

But now, if they guarantee that no one is going to die, this has to mean that the Hosts are up to something, and that something would have to balance this 「Guarantee of Life」 rule in order for the equilibrium to be preserved

Izayoi glared towards the depths of the tropical rainforest as he lightly clicked his tongue.

Thinking like that, he picked up the phone and answered the call, but as he did so, a voice that was more reminiscent of an earthquake bellowed out from the other side.

「BIG BRO IZA!!! IS SHITTYTERU THERE WITH YOU?!」

The angry roar has caused Izayoi to cover one of his ears.

「By Shittyteru you meant President? If I remember correctly, he stayed back in Japan, saying he had something to take care of.」

「Thank goodness, so he hasn’t escaped overseas!!! But I’m going to ask you just in case, Big Bro Iza. By any chance, you didn’t mess with the orphanage’s account just because I received a huge sum of money, did you?」

And with that the call has been cut once more in the similar fashion to before. Seriously, there was a limit to how rude one person could be and Homura was dangerously close to approaching it. And although the vehemence in his voice made him quite confused, he decided to drop that matter entirely after not being able to find an answer as to why he was that agitated about it.

He turned to Pritt and asked about what they were going to do from now on.

「So what’s the plan for now?」

「First, we will have to talk to the guardian of this land. Then we will investigate the forest itself with the Star Particle Bodies detector we have procured. That will be your job as I will talk to the Gods and spirits, and we will rendez vous when the sun begins to set.」

「I have no problem with that, but will you really be able to find me in a forest this big?」

「Fufu, my title of the Earth’s Mother Goddess isn’t just for show, you know? Your Spirit Rank is ridiculously high, so detecting you will be easy as pie just as long as you won’t try to cross those mountains over there.」

「Okay, let’s go then.」

Saying so, they started moving towards the forest. The two had been unusually slack, simply wanting to get it over with as soon as they could.
