「「. . . Hou?」」

Both Tokuteru and Izayoi released surprised voices from their throats.

「Now that is a new theory that I have never heard before. What about the God of Chr*******ty then?」

「Hmm. . . . to tell you the truth, I have already thought about such a theory a long time ago. The theory that states that the Divine Spirits obtain their power for the source that is the faith of the people who believe in them is well-established and known by everyone, but thinking about it logically, if we take into account the kind of place that Little Garden is, then it should be possible to obtain the same kind of power here in a much more efficient way and in greater quantities than the amount guaranteed to you from the feelings of admiration and awe coming from your believers.

Logically speaking, there should be two ways for the Divine Spirit to increase its power without relying solely on the faith coming from its believers. If a Divine Spirit wanted to increase its power with such methods, it would most likely have to follow the following steps:

① It would have to be established as one of the Divine Spirits whose primary method of gaining power is through the warship and awe of its believers

② The number of its believers would have to increase because of the occurrence of a huge 「Turning Point in history」otherwise known as Paradigm Shifts that would have an impact on the entire world, causing the Divine Spirits probability of existence to skyrocket in a short amount of time.

「That is right. . . the greatest source of power for any given Divine Spirit is not the faith of its believers, but the Paradigm Shifts.」

Paradigm Shifts. . . .in broader sense, they can be likened to a convergence point that is bordering different universes and that is being supported by The Parallel Worlds Theory, a literal swirling vortex of power so great that most of the people could not even begin to imagine have gone mad trying. If a Divine Spirit was involved in a Paradigm Shift, then they could draw power from it, but if they had noting to do with its, its reserves would have remained closed to them.

「But that is not all. Divine Spirits are not the only ones capable of creating and using the Paradigm Shifts for themselves. If they possess a big enough of an influence, large enough for a part of the world or even its entirety to be affected by it, then even normal people should be capable of causing them. . . . . and Chr*****n religion has many examples of the people who were capable of doing exactly that across the two thousand years of its continued history.」

「And that is why Chr*****n religion has gotten as powerful as it is today. Especially in the medieval times, the popes of the Catholic Church held enough power and authority and were so influencial in their hands that all it took to create a Paradigm Shift that could result in the advancement or regression of entire countries with just a few words, which can be considered a power that could easily rival that of the Gods and mythical creatures, and all of that held in the hand of a single man. Can you even imagine something like that? It will not be an understatement to say that no other religion that came before or after Chr*******ty had that kind of reach and power to affect the people. . . in that aspect, The Roman Catholic Mythology is undoubtedly one of the strongest there can be.」

And even in the modern times, the influence of the pope of the Roman Catholic Church remained every bit as immesurable as it was in the past. So if only they could get the current pope on their side and convince him to spread the word that Star Particle Bodies are not just some devilish invention intended to go against the God’s teachings and provide the Catholic populace with a rational enough explanation, then most of the Western nations should be sufficiently convinced to start supporting the plan to build the Environmental Control Towers instead of protesting against it.

「Also. . . . . . if we manage to pull that off, then we should be able to exert the same kind of logic and influence to Krishna and Arjuna. I do not know if it is still going to be possible, but I would definitely like to get these two to help us if possible. After all, the Hindu population is currently among one of the largest in the entire world, and the power of Buddhism is something that should not be ignored or trifled with. If these two were able to rally the believers of Buddhism to our cause as well, then maybe we would have enough people backing us and our plans to actually have a real chance of standing up against this incoming crisis without having to butt heads with our fellow humans and save humanity without any major difficulties standing in our path.

「So that is why you were trying to make them become our buddies and join our cause to the last possible moment . . . .right?」

When he was talking with Krishna yesterday, Homura used the following words at one point:

I need the name of Krishna the Savior.

And right now, Izayoi finally understood what he meant by that: he wanted Krishna to appear in the modern-day Outer World to act as the leader of the Hindu people so that he could help him steer the world in the right direction.

「Guys, I know that you might think it an entirely futile effort, but just to let you know, I have not given up on convincing Krishna to join us. If we are really facing the same problems and are heading towards the same kind of future as he thinks we are, then I firmly believe that there is still a chance for us to become actual comrades in arms against our common enemy. But if we want to resolve this matter without turning to the drastic solutions that he himself was proposing, then we have to make sure that our own method needs to be as honed and perfected as possible!」

Homura declared that while clenching his fists in determination, but his words only caused everyone else to wear difficult and complicated expressions on their faces. And the one who was looking especially unconvinced was Izayoi, which came as no surprise, since he was the one who actually fought and exchanged blows with that young man who was calling himself Krishna alongside Asuka and You . . . . and he saw firsthand how stubborn and absorbed in his own believes he was, refusing to listen to both reason and words, no matter what they were. And more importantly, he said it himself that one of the powers that he possessed allowed him to see the future, and according to the folklore and myths and legends related to him, he was the world’s very first savior who gave birth to the concept of it that later spread out around the entire world, and he could also peer not only into the future, but also to the past and everything that is happening in the present, but maybe now that he was just an incarnation of Krishna, the only thing that has been granted to him was just the ability to foresee the future?

Krishna is the one from whom the concept of the Savior originated from, and there is no doubt that this particular piece of folklore is going to be reflected in his standing and power level in Little Garden, most likely making him a two-digit Divine Spirit at the very least. And so, the boy who has been entrusted with the vision of the future by this Krishna spoke to Izayoi and the others as they were discussing the possibility of employing other methods. . . . .
