Each of these two elements, both the crown and the keys have their own formal names. The Crown is called a Triple Crown or a Papal Tiara, and it was once one of the symbols used in the papal coronation ceremonies. The triple structure of the crown is supposed to represent the epitome of the world created by one God in three divine personas, as well as the authority of the pope to rule over it. As for the two crossed keys, they are called Peter’s Keys, or alternatively, The Heavenly Keys granted to Saint Peter by Jesus himself so that he could open the gates of Heaven, earth and Hell with them. According to one of Jack-o-Lantern’s famous anecdotes, these keys are used by Saint Peter, who has been granted Authority over the boundary between life and death, when he judges the people and determines if they should go to Heaven, Hell or Purgatory. They are the legendary keys capable of opening the boundaries between the worlds, and only one set of those exists in the entirety of Little Garden. That set of keys, which has the summoning power comparable to that possessed by 「The Golden Queen」, Queen Halloween, and it is something that is said to be entrusted to the youngest spawn of the Blue Star.

「However, the decisive factor here was the fictitious company that submitted the proposal onto my mailbox, Figure Out. Just as the name of that fictional company implies, it is supposed to be both an invitation and a challenge for me, and what it is saying is basically

「W-Well, thanks for the kind words, Tokuteru, but I would advise you to be cautious with your enthusiasm, because I do not think that I need to remind you that we still do not know if the descendants of the Medici’s are going to turn our to be trustworthy or not.」

「But even so, as far as planning is concerned, this seems to be a pretty solid foundation, the one that has been thought about and prepared even more meticulously than I could have ever hoped for. And if that is the case, then I do not think there would be anything that we would have to worry about even if everything were to start moving along immediately.」

Izayoi laughed with his usual haughty 「Yahaha!」 and placed his hand on top of Homura’s head so that he could ruffle his hair, but Homura simply shook his hand off with a somewhat stiff expression and cleared his throat once more, indicating that he still had more to say .

「If we could get both the Medici’s and the pope to back our plans with their money and authority, then I feel like there is going to be no way for our business to awry anywhere, and once we gather a sufficiently large amount of influence as well, then there will no longer be any need for the involvement of other organizations that would move behind the scenes on our behalf.」

「And that means that we need to find the owner of Ophiuchus as soon as possible.」

「Yes, exactly. That is the most important mission that we should be focusing on while being here in Atlantis, Sis.」

Now that they finally knew what they needed to do, Homura and Suzuka were burning with determination to fulfill their mission. However, their words made Kuro Usagi and Tokuteru glance at Izayoi with pretty ambiguous expressions as he simply shrugged his shoulders with a pretty nasty smile.

「Well, there can be no doubt that once you get your hands on Ophiuchus, you will be able to take action and move things along in the world, and maybe you will even be able to finally throw a wrench in the enemy organization’s plans for good.」

「Exactly! Since our purpose is to build the Environmental Control Towers, then once that goal will be achieved there will no longer be anu reason for us to contend with the enemy organization at all once we will start cooperating with the United Nations affiliated agencies! If only we manage to get that first step done, then all of humanity will finally have a reason to join us so that we all could do our best to overcome the incoming crisis!」

Homura raised his fist into the air and made a triumphant shout. And even though that latest thought stream of his was comprised almost entirely of nothing but his own hopes and wishful thinking, it is most definitely true that in order for his plan to succeed, the cooperation of the entire human race, or at the very least a major part of human race, was pretty much a necessity required in order to make sure that the process of building the Environmental Control Towers Goes as smoothly as possible and that nobody is nothing and nobody is going to be interrupting it. Of course, pretty much the same thing also applies to their plan of establishing contact and relations with the pope of the Roman Catholic Church.

「At the current moment, we still have more than a week and a half before the first round of the 2nd War for the Sun’s Authority comes to a close. In the meantime, I would like Tokuteru to deliver these three letters to their respective addressees, just like we discussed before. Do you want to go over the order in which you should deliver them one more time, just to make sure that you will not forget it when it is going to count the most?」

「Sure, why not. It certainly will not hurt me to give myself a little reminder. First of all, Ayato’s father, the CEO of Everything Company.」

「That is right. Informing him about everything is the first and the most important step, without which nothing else will be able to go forward. Next, I would like you to find out everything that you possibly can about the Medici’s by the time we return, and lastly, keep the letter addressed to the pope on you at all times, just in case you would ever had the change to give it to him because of your work as a mercenary, okay?」

「Yeah, you can be sure that I will keep it on me at all times. . . .Okay, if that is all then I think it is high time for me to be taking Krishna back to the Giant Spirit Train with me, but do you have anything else that you would like to say, Izayoi?」
