「And this baby right here is going to be a special bit of service from me. You have quite a long hair, so they are definitely going to become a hindrance and get in your way until you have them cut, but for the time being we are going to tie them up to make them more manageable, okay?」

「U, un!」

Suzuka then tied her heir into a ponytail as well, in much the same manner as she would have done with her own hair, and throughout the whole process, the girl’s eyes were entranced and shining as she observed Suzuka’s experienced movements. What Suzuka did was admittedly nothing fancy or extravagant, but for someone who has never seen such cute accessories before in her life and did not hear about fashion at all, it must have felt like the greatest form of magic when she had it done to her for the first time in her life. Touching her head and hair all over, she was crying out 「Ohhh. . . . . . . . . !」and 「A, Ahhhhh. . . . . . !」as if she still could not believe that someone like her could look as pretty as she was looking right now. But even though this reaction was more than Suzuka could have ever hoped for, she still placed her finger on her chin and wondered if she should leave it at that or perhaps go and try something else as well, and after a while of thinking she decided to leave it to the girl herself, and so she asked her:

「Well? What do you think? Should we leave it at that, or do you want to try a different hairstyle?」
「. . . . . .N-No. . . . . . . . . . . it is. . . . . . . . . . . . . fine. . . . . . . . . . . . . . 」

「I see. Do you like the scrunchie?」

「. . . . u-un!」

「All right! Then feel free to consider it as a gift from me to you! It was made by a parson who is very important to me, so likewise you should do everything to properly cherish it and keep it safe, okay?」

Suzuka said while patting the girl’s head. The Albino girl nodded over and over again at that promising that she will treasure it forever as she laughed and had her eyes shine like they never did before while she continued to gaze at her new, pretty self in the bathhouse’s mirror for the longest time.

After the three of them played in the bathhouse so much, the Albino girl got tired pretty quickly and was on the verge of falling fast asleep, but she did not do so until they returned to the hut where Izayoi was sleeping. There, she slowly got onto the bed while running her eyes over and over again, and only when she nestled right next to him did she finally drift off into the dreamlands as if the batteries that were powering her until now just ran out of power. Looking at the two of them sleeping next to each other like that, Suzuka smiled wryly while sighing heavily.

「Haaa. . . . . . . . . . . . . ~~ looking at her right now, sleeping right next to Big Bro Iza without a care in the world like that, I cannot help it but to be reminded of my own self from the past.」

「Ah, I think I heard something about it from Izayoi before. Supposedly, when Miss Suzuka and Mister Homura were younger, you used to cling onto him just like that wherever the three of you would go, just like the kids who cling onto their mother’s skirt when they are scared of everything around them, and personally I find that to be truly adorable!」

「W-Well, what can I say except: what else did you expect? After all, Big Bro Iza has always been like a dependable big brother to us ever since we first came to Canaria Family Home, and since he was always so strong and cool, then not only the two of us, but all the other kids in the orphanage looked u to him and followed him around in admiration, just like a bunch of ducklings follow their mother wherever she goes.」

It was just like Suzuka said. For as long as Izayoi was in Canaria Family Home orphanage, he has always been the informal leader of pretty much every other kid who ever would up there, because he was always the coolest, the fastest and the strongest out of everyone else, causing everyone to look up to him as their role model, as terrifying as that may sound. Imagining such a situation from his past, Kuro Usagi laughed while covering her mouth with her hand.

「So anyway, you were saying that Homura and Tokuteru should be done with their talk about now, right?」

「Yes, they should have been talking in the resting area. Should we go to them now?」

「Yeah, I think it would be for the best. If they made some important decisions regarding what we should be doing in the future, then I definitely want to be there to hear about it.」

And so Kuro Usagi and Suzuka headed to the resting area where they found the two people, Homura And Tokuteru, discussing many things over the piece of parchment that was spread over the table: the summoning of Sakamaki Izayoi, Kasukabe You and Kudou Asuka to Little Garden three years ago and every major incident that happened since then and they just happened to be a part of. All of the species living in Little Garden and their positions in its hierarchical system, detailing every single one of them from the strongest to the weakest. The concept of Gift Games and the purpose for why they were implemented in the first place, Demon Lords, Floor Masters, Host Masters etc. . . .

After carefully listening to all of those information that Tokuteru gave to him, Homura looked over the piece of parchment upon which he wrote every last one of those information down so that he could come back to them later at any given moment with a perplexed expression as he muttered to himself:

「Third Observable Universe. . . . . mutual observation of humans and Divine Spirits. . . . . . 『Origin』 Candidates. . . . . . . 「Demon Lord of the Black Plague」, Black Percher. . . . . . . . 『Absolute Evil』 Azi-Dahaka. . . . . . . 「Final Trials of Humanity」. . . . . .and Gift Games, huh? And in addition to that, the three strongest species in the entire Little Garden are Celestial Star Spirits, Divine Spirits and Pureblood Dragons. And as Indra, you are considered to be strongest among the 「Natural Divine Spirits」?」

「That would be how things currently are, yes. Fufun, so, how does it feel to know that all these years you have been watched over by one of the most amazing if not the most amazing out of all the Divine Spirits there are, huh?」

「Stop, it, okay? Just stop. Anyway, is it true that out of all three of the strongest species of Little Garden, Pureblooded Dragons were the only ones th have appeared 「overnight, seemingly out of nowhere」and that they are utterly unpredictable in anything that they are doing?」

「Fufu, well look at you. I took my eyes of you for but a moment and your ability to not get upset or worked up and ignore the things that are happening around you seemed to have grown in power considerably. I am proud of you, really.」

Tokuteru said, hoping to get any kind of reaction out of Homura, but once he saw that nothing would become out of this, he sighed and looked into the distance for a few second, and then proceeded to answer Homura’s question for real.
「Pure-blood Dragons. . . . right. Yes, with them, it is exactly as it sounds. They are a race that just suddenly appeared in the world one day. And that description is by no means an overstatement or an over-exaggeration.」

In fact, that was an information that Izayoi has also been aware of.
