Chapter 5

… In the name of the Great Father Zeus, all the life in the world is to be recognized as my children!

All of the Gods who heard those words that day could not believe their ears, that is how shocking of an act that was.

The enemies forgot to continue baring their fangs at him, and his allies all turned pale and screamed, because what those words meant was that the child of every human that he mingled with would share a portion of Zeus’s Spiritual Identity.

Even though Danae’s father almost killed her and her son Perseus, he still chose to equally recognize not only his legitimate children, but also those who were only seeking to exploit the prestige of calling themselves Zeus’s children as his legitimate children.

But at the very least, that act of his managed to save many lives.

Unable to comprehend why Zeus acted in such an erratic way, Typhon asked him with his voice filled with fury.

Why did he so such a stupid, irrational thing? If he keeps fighting in that condition, then Typhon is definitely going to kill him. But that would only be killing him purely for the sake of killing him. Neither Typhon nor Gaia would be saved by killing Zeus now. And in his eyes, the Star God War cannot end in such a way.

But then, the spirit of Zeus who made the declaration grew slightly.

It was a small change, but also a definite one the could not be mistaken for anything else. For whatever reason, his spirit and Divinity were definitely getting bigger, and it wasn’t something that happened just once.

Zeus’s Divinty, which shrunk so low that it was smaller than an insect gradually began to swell without bounds. It grew from bug to beast, from beast to God, and then into an even greater being.
When the gods who were witnessing it realized that the Divinity that Zeus distributed to all of his new children was now getting back to him as waves of even greater power, they shuddered.

As a result of what happened, despite being a child born of a human, now that all humans have been declared to be Zeus’s children, Perseus was established as a perfect child of a God regardless of whether that God actually existed or not.

It wouldn’t make that much of a difference if it was just the case with Perseus, but Zeus didn’t approve of just him alone as his child.

The circumstances of Danae, who spoke those words with tears in her eyes, were by no means uncommon during the time when she was alive. However, Zeus declared that he would recognize not only Danae’s child, but all the children of man as his own without discrimination. However, in exchange for that great power, he also had to allow a possibility of a great destruction.

Since the history of mankind has been assimilated with Zeus’ Divinity, then if humanity as a whole were to perish, then his Divinity would perish along with them. By accepting the people and choosing to live with them, he also agreed to dissappear with them.

The Chief God’s Declaration, which determined the current state of affairs in Little Garden illuminated the entire world with its brilliance that filled the other Gods from different mythologies with the same kind of determination.

Labrys, the double-edged battle axe said to be the strongest of the weapons associated with all of the zodiac constellations… the Lightning of Keraunos stored within it is a vessel meant to concentrate and emit its brilliance.

Putting all of the power obtained from the Divinity shared with humans across their history, the history of the Gods and the genealogy of the stars themselves into the Lightning of Keraunos, The Great Father Zeus was able to crush Demon Lord Typhon with a single blow that finally put an end to the war that has raged on for such a long time.

And with a *PORON* sound of the lyre’s strings, the last part of the story came to a close.

Having finished the story described in her picture book, Alma put it away and turned back to properly face all of the Players. Taking her fake beard off, she smiled and reached her hand out towards Asterios.

「King Asterios. This is the truth about the Chief God’s Declaration in its entirety.」

The first great declaration that linked the human history and the Gods together. And it was thanks to that declaration and Zeus’s unwavering determination that both sides were able to continue weaving the relationship between them until the present day.

「And the true power possessed by The Thunder Striker Keraunos is to connect the human history and lineage to the Divinity held within it, convert it into pure lightning, accumulate it and release it all at once. That is why its power when it is wielded by a single individual is severely limited. However, right now you are no longer just an individual, not when you had so many of your subjects awaiting your return so eagerly.」

「Surely you must have noticed it by now, didn’t you? The true meaning of the name that you have inherited, King Asterios. The combination of「Starry Sky」and 「Lightning」, father-in-law of King Minos. 「Asterios」is a name that only an incarnation of the Chief God Zeus is allowed to use.」

At that moment, all of the Players gasped in unison, because none of them ever expected to hear such a shocking revelation. The only one who did not react in such a way was Izayoi, who crossed his arms in front of his chest as if he has already figured all of that out long ago.
