Primordial Dragon

Previously, just after Haruto and the others learned how to lift the curse on Miu’s mother—
They decided to create an item called the『Tear of Catarra』to lift the curse.
The materials needed to create this item were recorded in a book mentioned in Genesis. Luna reads from that book.
「To create the Tear of Catarra, we first need the fur of a nine-tailed fox」
「Master, is this acceptable?」
Yoko plucks out some of her own hair and hands it to Haruto.
「Yoko, thank you」
「Next, we need the scales of a coloured dragon」
「Luna, would black dragon scales work?」
「Well…… yes. It seems that as long as they are dragon scales, the color doesn’t matter」
「I see. Then— here!」
Ryuushin suddenly peeled off some scales from his own arm.
「Ouch.That hurts…… Here, Haruto」
「Ryuushin, sorry. Heal—-」
「Heal!」
Before Haruto could react, Hinata cast healing magic on Ryuushin.
「Ryuushin-sama, are you all right? Does it still hurt?」
「Yeah. Thank you, Hinata」

「All the magical power in the world flows from that Primordial Dragon, right?」
「That’s right. Actually, what the Primordial Dragon sends out is mana, which we spirits convert into magical power」
In response to Haruto’s question, the Spirit King Silph replied.
「Then, if we trace the source of the dragon veins that flow through this world, can’t we find out where the Primordial Dragon is?」
「Even if it’s you, Haruto-sama, that’s impossible」

Haruto was now standing atop a cliff, which seemed like a sheer wall. Before him stood an immensely large dragon, defying all sense of normalcy.
「It’s been a while since you’ve come to visit. What’s with the dazed expression?」
The enormous dragon drew its face closer to Haruto.
If it weren’t for Haruto’s status being [Fixed], just the dragon’s breath alone might have blown him away.
「S-so, you’re the Primordial Dragon?」
「That’s right…… Hm? Are you perhaps not the first Haruto?」
Haruto didn’t understand the meaning of the Primordial Dragon’s words. He had never met the Primordial Dragon before.
「The first… …what does that mean?」
「If you don’t know, that’s fine. That way, it’s certain that you’re the first」
Haruto was confused by the completely unhelpful response. Despite his confusion, the Primordial Dragon moved.
「The first Haruto. I’ll take back the power I lent you」
As the Primordial Dragon spoke, it inhaled.
Along with the surrounding air, a vast amount of magic power was taken from Haruto.
Taken—- though for Haruto, whose status was [Fixed] due to the curse of the Evil God, it meant nothing at all.
「I have indeed received back the power I lent you. Ah… … from your point of view, it’ll be in the coming time」

「Well, for now, it doesn’t matter if you understand. The next time you come here, don’t hesitate to borrow power from me」
Unable to grasp the flow of the conversation and overwhelmed by the presence of the Primordial Dragon before him, Haruto couldn’t ask any further questions.
「I remember you wanted my claw last time…… here, is this sufficient?」
The Primordial Dragon broke off the tip of its massive claw with its own fang and placed it before Haruto.

With those words, the Primordial Dragon teleported Haruto back to his original location.
In the space where Haruto had disappeared, the Primordial Dragon muttered.
「We won’t meet again for another ten thousand years」
