Into the World Tree

It’s been about two days since Tina and I got married.

Yesterday, I spent the day alone with Tina. Meanwhile my classmates were out shopping and exploring in the city during that time.

Today, since we are already here in the Elf Country, we decided to do something that can only be experienced here with our classmates.

Speaking of Alfheim, yes, I’m talking about the World Tree. The Tree that stands tall in the center of this country.

I was going to climb it.

I was also confused as well. Who would think that the tree they were protecting would be inhabited by demons?

According to Sylph, this dungeon was a bonus stage for the heroes of the past. They could get as many rare items as they wanted from the fairies from all over the world without being attacked by demons.

Then, the reason why the demons are living here is to take care of the World Tree.
I also heard that you can get a lot of experience if you defeated them, but since I felt awkward about defeating a quiet demon that won’t even attack me, I decided to not do it.

The sylph also said this.

I thought Sylph just sounded young, but he seems like he actually is a kid.

He’s pretty young to be a Spirit King.

[Then why don’t you just climb up this dungeon with us?]

Sylph’s face lit up in a flash as I said this.

[I like that! I can go on an adventure with you guys!]

What do you mean adventure, isn’t this your house?

That’s what I thought, but since Sylph looked happy, I decided to keep it quiet.

[Yes, it’s nice to be with you. But Rifa and Tina aren’t feeling well, so the move will have to wait a bit longer.]

[What did you say? Tina, Rifa, are you okay?]

Sylph was worried about them both and flew to Rifa and Tina.

The two of them were bathed in a golden aura by Sylph.

[How do you feel? Does that make you feel any better?]

Tina and Rifa seemed to be feeling better.

[What did you do?]
[I placed a warding of my blessings around Rifa and Tina. So it’s a good thing that Mana doesn’t overly interfere with them. You can still use magic if you call on mana if you want.]

Many elves call on mana to gather magic from space and use magic. Even with the wards of the sylphs, they could still use magic without any problems.
