Out of control Magic

I went to call for Merdi, the last one left.

「Merdi, I’m entering」

「I smell fried rice!」

As I was about to knock on the door, Merdi jumped out of her room with a great vigor.

「I made plenty of it. Can you come to the dining room?」

Being a butler sure is hard.

Tina asked as I was passing Meldi another plate of food.

I took Tina’s and Rifa’s plates and went to refill them.

It might be Sasha.

I served the food to Tina and the others and headed for the door.

Oh, I’m still in my butler outfit.

Well, it’s alright I guess.

「Sorry to keep you waiting…..Wha?!」

When I opened the door, I found my brother Cain standing there with his armor blackened and burnt.

「Haruto….Your magic, is too powerful」

Saying that, he collapsed in front of me.

「Oh, hey! brother!?」

His armor was charred, but his body didn’t seem to be injured much.

However, his stamina had been considerably depleted.

I should heal him with my recovery magic for the meantime.

Standing behind the fallen Cain was Sasha, the sister of the king of this country.

「Sasha-sama, do you know what happened to my brother?」

I asked Sasha since she might know what caused Cain to end up like this.
「I tried to sneak out from the castle this evening to go visit you…but Cain-san followed me as an escort」
The king of Glendale probably noticed that Sasha was trying to slip away from the castle. That’s why he ordered Cain, the one he trusts the most, to tail and to escort her.

In other words, the flaming knight considered Cain as an enemy, so it attacked him to protect Sasha.
Cain most likely finished it off, judging by the way his armour was burned and the bracelet being empty.

Cain has recovered.

In other words, Cain’s strength was at par with that of a Majin. Although he’s a human, he can be considered as part of the monsters’ class.
「By the way. Haruto. How many flaming knights can you conjure up at once?」
「At once? Well around 10, I think」
「Wha!? Y, you can make 10 of those!!?」
I can conjure 10 bodies “at once”.
If I can take my time, then I could conjure up to 10,000.
