Prologue

<<Game>> Announcement.

My name is M and I am the organizer of this game.

I appeal to all challengers in pursuit of legendary treasures to join my game.

Those who survive to the end will be given the best of the treasures left behind by their predecessors.

The series of events leading up to the Tanabata festival all started when President Yuiga was stabbed by Saki Yoshino (aka Yun-chan). During that time we learned of the existence of a <<game>> held by the leprechauns who secretly build the <<ruins>> where the Nanana Collection are hidden.

The winner will be given a carefully selected item from the Nanana Collection, <<Nanana’s sword>>. This sword is said to have a variety of hidden abilities, one of which I happen to know.

It is the ability to see the past of the person you cut with it.

Then it hit me. In other words, if you could cut a person who was killed 10 years ago, you could see the moment that person was killed like a video. You might be able to see who the culprit is.

It’s a strange thing to say, but it’s not impossible to cut someone who was killed 10 years ago.

That’s because that person who was killed is still in room 202 of the Happiness Dorm where I live. That’s right, as an earthbound spirit.

Her name is Ryugajo Nanana-chan. Every since she was killed 10 years ago, she has been an active earthbound spirit that has been haunting the room where she was killed. She can’t leave her room, she can disappear, and she doesn’t need to sleep. She is truly an out–of-this-world existence.

Well, she has been eating pudding, playing online games at all times of the day, laughing loudly while watching comedy shows on TV, and doing other things that most earthbound spirits would not do. It’s always left me wondering, ‘Is she really an earthbound spirit?’… But let’s set that aside.

We have to find out who killed Nanana-chan. That is exactly what I (Juugo Yama) am trying to do.

However this is an extremely difficult task.

That happened ten years ago.  Beyond that, the murder of the most important person of this island, the head of the GREAT 7 at the time, had been completely investigated. Despite the huge amount of documents related to the case, the murderer has yet to be identified. Even a certain neighbor, a self-proclaimed great detective, threw up her hands in frustration over it.

When things are this way I have no choice but to rely on the Nanana collection.

The Nanana Collection, the missing inheritance that Nanana once possessed <<the buried treasures of Nanana Ryugajou>> is a number of hidden treasures that Nanana-chan retrieved from various places around the world during her lifetime.

All of them have special abilities, and it is said that if all of them are collected there is no wish that cannot be fulfilled.

In order to obtain this I joined an adventure club whose purpose was to collect Nanana collections, and together with my sempai I took on the <<ruins>> and worked hard.

And finally we have come across the existence of a Nanana collection that fulfills my objective.

No matter what, I will win the <<game>> and obtain the <<Nanana’s sword>>, and find out who killed Nanana-chan for sure.
