Nanana’s Buried Treasure Volume 7 Chapter 7.9

Normally at this point a murderous aura would erupt with rumbling sounds, but right now a very depressing aura was emanating from her back.

「So please listen to my whole story. You see, after I came to this island and was reunited with you, Yukihime-neesan, I made you really angry…」

It was at the coffee shop before we went to the hot springs town. I had a serious fight with Yukihime-san and finally let my feelings out to her.

Then Yukihime-neesan looks up at me with glistening eyes.

「Please answer me Young Master.」

「I mean, you don’t need to worry about us, just make your declaration!」

Hey one-eyed girl eating rice crackers there. You’re definitely just here to ruin the mood.

When I turned around, I saw Yukihime-neesan crouched down, covering her face with both hands.

She’s completely red and looks super embarrassed.

Um, if she’s yelling that then she probably… And, also she is so cute.

After a while, Yukihim-neesan finally stood up and shouted in a slightly annoyed voice, 「A..anyways, I understand your 《transaction》. I will send Ishbal with our stamp later, so please prepare the transaction details paper.」

Yukihime-neesan started talking super quickly and then began to move as if she was running away from a crime scene.

I feel sad as I say this. I got scared and added an unnecessary extra sentence at the end and am very sad in hindsight.

Well, if it was going to be so half-hearted, then maybe I shouldn’t have said anything… especially with Yukihime looking so weak in front of me.

They manipulated the dice rolls so that the Sakura Team, who would roll the dice second, and the Lady Team, who would roll the dice third, would land on the same square.

How did they do it? First, the Sakura Team decided to roll the number 7. When Yukihime-neesan rolled the dice, she deliberately dropped one outside the board, and Sansa-san inconspicuously kicked it into the shadows. Meanwhile, Haruto checked the number on the dice that was on the board (which was a 6). She activated the 《Sun God’s Wedge》 at the dice hidden in the shadows, connecting the floor to the back of the 1 (aka the side showing 6) and pulled it. The pulled die will end up rolling a 1. By the way, when it comes to the wedge, the trick is for Sansa-san to take the initiative and say, ‘Oh no, I kicked it. I’ll get it’, to prevent the others from checking it and to buy time. Another thing to note is that the total of the dice roll was picked to be 7 because, among all possible dice rolls from 2-12, 7 is the only number that can be made no matter what the dice on the board read. (For example if you rolled a 3 on the board, then you would match it with a 4 on the other die) If they picked an 8 and the die that was rolled on the board turned out to be a 1 there would be no way to make an 8 when combining the other die.

Sansa-san, who rolled the dice next, was even more amazing… or rather cunning.

She placed the dice on the table… No, I don’t mean that she really placed the dice, I mean that she cheated so that she could get the desired roll. The two dice were set with the desired outcome facing up, then were released by sliding them across the table while rotating them sideways, giving the illusion that they were rolling.

It was an old trick to cheating with dice, but the skill it was executed with was so impressive that even I (who had trained my eyes to spot this sort of thing) couldn’t tell that she wasn’t really rolling the dice.

Due to Sansa-san’s cheating, the total of the dice roll was 4, which meant that the Sakura Team and the Lady Team would land on the same square.

Inevitably, Nanana-chan (who has natural luck, which is kind of a natural cheating ability) who is able to get the number she wants rolled just by thinking about it, also rolled a 4.

This meant that a three-team 《forced acquisition game》 would be held on this turn. This was also the 6th 《forced acquisition game)) in a row involving Sansa-san and Nanana-chan.

The representatives who gathered in the robbery room were Sansa-san, Yukihime-neesan, and M.

From the 3 team deck of cards that President Yuiga held out, the leading team’s representative (Sansa-san) picked the game card. She picked 《Match Taking》 which coincidentally happened to be the same 《forced acquisition game》 we played.
