Nanana’s Buried Treasure Volume 8 Chapter 5.3

Those words seemed to be true, as the students below were looking around confused. How could someone do something like this….?

「Nanana collection.」

There was no other possible explanation for this strange phenomenon.

Asumi Nishi’s voice spoke to the students of Seven’s Land, 「Right now, in front of our very eyes, there is a girl who is seriously injured and on the verge of death.」

Yukihime’s cheek twitches.

「Her condition is very critical and she needs urgent treatment. However, our Nanana collection can only do its best to maintain her condition, there is no way for us to treat her.」

「Thank you for everyone’s cooperation. Our allies will now build a barricade at the first floor entrance of the royal castle. I hope you can get there somehow.」

As the conversation progresses, Yukihime has a smoldering feeling in her chest. But at the same time, her rationality is working to suppress it. She is a person in the underworld, and should avoid making any conspicuous movements.

Yukihime, looking down at the scene from the rooftop, closes her eyes. The screams of emotion heat up Yukihime’s heart to the core. And so she throws herself from the rooftop onto the battlefield that spreads out below.

I’m a member of the underworld, and I should avoid getting involved in public commotion. But that doesn’t matter. I don’t care about my position. The reason is simple, I like this kind of development. After all, Yukihime Fugi is a member of the phantom thieves <<Matsuri>>.

I wonder, how does Young Master feel about this situation? My childhood friend who denies helping people and turns his back on <<Matsuri>>. Is he just watching from the sidelines with a cold heart?

Everyone has the desire to help others. At least, most of the participants at Seven’s land feel that way and act accordingly.

It made me happy to learn this. I was so overwhelmed with joy to be able to experience the same feelings myself.

So here’s my suggestion.

「Um, Ikusaba-san. Can you seriously stop it. I don’t think this is the time for something like this.」

So, I decided to make a suggestion to the person who had been shooting arrows of light at me while I was hiding in the shadows.

「Then just leave that sword behind. I will gladly leave you alone.」

You’re right, but unfortunately I can’t bring myself to give it to you.

「Who knows, I don’t care」, answered Ikusaba-san directly.

The <<sword of Nanana>> was used by Nanana when she was alive. This sword is said to have multiple abilities. I understand very well that Ikusaba-san wants this sword. However, I have no intention of giving it to him easily. Because if I use this sword, I will be able to see Nanana-chan’s past, and I will definitely be able to find out who killed Nanana-chan.
