The next morning, an intruder tiptoes down the hallway of the Fugi house.  His destination is Yukihime Fugi’s room, which Juugo Yama uses as a bedroom. Crouching in the hallway, the intruder quietly opens the sliding door and peers inside the room. There he sees a bulge in the futon covers. After checking it, the intruder stands up with a grin and leaps into the air.

「Juugo-kun, prepare yourself…huh!?」

However, he senses something strange about the futon he is about to grab, and quickly pulls off the cover. The only thing inside the futon is a cushion.

「That’s a transformation technique!」

「Don’t move.」

Then she felt something cold on her neck. Her spine got a chill as she slowly turned around. Standing there was a man with a mean look in his eyes.

「You still have a mean look in your eyes, don’t you?」

「Someone with a mean look in their eyes told me I have a mean look in my eyes! Actually, it’s because you say things like that that you aren’t popular with girls Juu-kun.」

「Shut up.」

「Mmmph!」

The intruder put on a happy expression as the cider flavored ice cream that had been held up to her neck was shoved into her mouth.

「Also, stop saying that Ju-kun thing already.」

「I’ve said that for a long time, so it’s not like this is a new thing. Or maybe Juu-kun wants his sister to call him ‘big brother’?」

「…I guess Juu-kun is fine.」

With an expression that could not be explained, Juugo stared at the intruder who was eating an ice cream bar.

The girl with the distinctive fanged teeth that makes Juugo say she looks mean is Kunon Yama. She is Juugo Yama’s younger sister.

「You’re impressive, Juugo-kun. I can’t believe you predicted my surprise attack.」

I couldn’t help but sigh at Kunon’s fearlessly laugh.

「Are you an idiot? Anyone would notice if you were making that much noise?」

That was an hour ago.

「Good morning, Boss! I’ve come to get Juu-kun.」

I wake up when I hear a familiar, very cheerful voice coming from the entrance and look at the clock. It was just before six in the morning. Three minutes before the alarm went off.

It had been a while since I’d heard that voice. I couldn’t help but smile as she loudly and confidently proclaimed her purpose, just like always. But in any case, I realize that my sister’s target was me. OK, fine. I’ll show you what your older brother has, for the first time in a while. Bring it on, little sis.

「Oh my, Ojou. Come in.」

「Good morning, Shirayuki-san.」

「Breakfast just got served, would you like to eat?」

「Really? How lucky! I’ll have some.」

Then, from the living room, I heard a carefree voice say, ‘Itadakimasu.’

After about 10 minutes, I heard ‘Thank you for the meal’ and then ‘Ahhhh, I’m full’. Then I heard the sound of the TV and thought, ‘Oh, I’m in luck today.’ And finally I heard a conversation with Shirayuki-san and the boss…

「…that’s so stupid.」

So I sneaked out of the house and went to a nearby convenience store. Then, when I came back after buying ice cream, I finally heard Kunon-chan stand up and say, ‘Oh, that reminds me. I came to attack Juu-kun while he was sleeping!’, so I hid in the closet. She finally arrived.

「Damn, I fell right into the boss’s trap to buy time!」

My sister slams her fist on the tatami floor, genuinely frustrated. By the way, I finished the entire ice cream.

「Well, put yourself in my shoes after waiting for almost an hour.」
