Then I will eat a cup of ramen! Then I’m going to recover from my injury as soon as possible so I can play games with you!

If you are going to recover, you need to eat something more nutritious

I don’t have money, so that’s not going to happen! I’ll just gut it out!

Then I talked non-stop. I was very good at making small talk and kept on bringing up random topics.

Nanana was looking at me and started laughing.

You are so weird

Upon seeing her cute smile, I felt much better. Rather, I felt happy. Then I thought, That wasn’t so hard.

That is why I will thank her honestly.

Her, who is the prophetic senior who originally lived here who I have not met.

Section 5:

Humans are indeed very foolish. Once humans feel at ease, they want to learn much more.

The school’s PC? You can find some in the library

After school the next day, Ms. Yumeji told me. Thus, I immediately went to the library to research Nanana.

The Third High School’s library was not that big. It seemed that more emphasis was placed on creating a conducive electronic environment than just increasing the number of books. Almost 10 PCs lined the table and dividers were put in between. I went to the table and sat in a vacant chair. Then I immediately started moving the mouse.

The School’s home page was the Nanae Island’s database’s search bar.

Immediately, I typed into the keyboard Nanana Ryūgajō. I moved the mouse, and I clicked on the search icon.

After a few seconds, the search results came.

……w, what!

The number of hits shown amazed me. For a moment, I thought I was hallucinating.

    Number of hits, 450,000.

Why would the room 202’s earthbound ghost have so many hits?

Surprised, I clicked on the topmost link.

On this page was written Nanana Ryūgajō’s history.

Nanana Ryūgajō. One does not need to explicitly say that she was the head of the GREAT7 that came up with the Nanae Island project”

GREAT 7. It was the seven geniuses who had made the Nanae Island, that Ms. Yumeji mentioned yesterday.

There were several links of information that branched from there. Thus, I looked through them one by one.

The purpose of the Nanae Island project was to Create a place where youth can embark on any kind of dream. The project commenced in 20XX year (12 years ago). However, since at that point the planning phase for making the island had already finished, the construction began immediately. Within half a year, the original model for the Nanae Island had been completed (today’s First District). After the construction on the island, the project only took one year to set up the first educational facility. This was the Nanae Island First High School. In correlation to this, the migration of students started. After this the construction to expand the island started, and the island’s area increased. Currently the Fifth District had just completed construction……”

Oh man, this earthbound ghost. She was a person that had achieved such great things, huh?

While being surprised, I looked through the paragraphs. Then, the explanation finally came to its end.

……the project had been going on quite fine, until on 20XX year August 14th (10 years ago), Nanana Ryūgajō was stabbed to death by someone in the home she was living in …….the murderer has not yet been found”

For how old the incident was, the death of Nanana was short of details.

Then, I looked at other links.

Apparently, the expansion of this island had continued after Nanana died. Nanae Island produced many excellent students while obtaining the various patents that the students developed through their research. It had generated a huge profit and used it without hesitation to expand.

After looking at the whole picture, I realized that on this Island everything from the educational facility to the convenience store was run by an organization called the ((Nanae Island Overseeing Committee)).

It’s true, everything from the convenience stores, to fast food stores, to the family restaurants were original. There were no chain stores that I’ve often seen on TV commercials or stores that are everywhere in Japan on this island at all.

The company that runs all the construction on this Nanae Island was also a company from the island, and from the president to the normal employees, everybody was a former student on this island. Earlier that day, the realtor that I had visited in Japan seemed to be a company that was under this Nanae Island Overseeing Committee. Most probably, all the employees there are also former students of this island.

It seemed that the network was really thorough. When the island was first made other companies were allowed, but currently the island did not allow any sort of other companies whether foreign or not to intervene in the island’s economy. Perhaps this was the reason why they had such a strict check when I debarked onto the island. It was as if it was Japan when it was a hermit kingdom during the Edo period.

I finally started to somewhat understand.

That meant that Nanae Island thoroughly supported students who had the motivation to work hard. In return, the island obtains the results of the research capital and expands even further. It would then use those profits for the students of future generations.

It seems that that is the economic cycle of this island.

I had heard of similar economic plans, but this place really implemented it thoroughly.

I wondered who were the people in the GREAT7 who thought of such an economic cycle. So I searched for this as well.

About the GREAT7. They are the seven students that started the Nanae Island project. They are currently the highest in command in the Nanae Island Overseeing Committee. However, this number of7had already become a relic of the past, and currently, after Nanana Ryūgajō’s death and Kurosu Sansa’s disappearance, the number of members is actually five”

Additionally, the names of the five people and their profile picture was posted online. Shunjū Ikkaku, Uzuki Kankyō, Saito Futaba, Koma Mutsumi and…… Shiki Maboro.

Then upon seeing the last person, I could not help but freeze.

There, it said, “Shiki Maboro”. The young girl that was posted alongside the name resembled the lazy landlady.

Section 6

Nice to meet you, I am the fourth most important person on this island, Shiki Maboro. Currently, I am looking for a boyfriend that would allow me to drink alcohol for the rest of my life. As a condition, I would like a person that would grant my every desire while smiling

Ms. Shiki said so in a lazy manner.

By the way, what do you think of me, Jūgo. Me like this

No thank you

I replied honestly with the best native [1. TL Note: The phrase “No thank you” was said in English in the original text] accent I could manage.

The place was the landlord’s room that stunk of alcohol.

Then? What have you come here for?

Ms. Shiki who sat opposite the table still tilted the beer can. I wonder what this person was doing all the time.

Actually, I came here to hear about Nanana

Then you should just ask her

That might be the case, but somehow it is rather difficult to ask her face to face.

While I fidgeted, Ms. Shiki stood up and said, well, I don’t mind but.

Errrr, there should be an album somewhere……o…oh, here it is

Ms. Shiki started rummaging through the drawer and found an album from the drawer that was full of trash. She spread it on the table, and took out one photograph from it.

What is this?

This is the picture of when the construction of Nanae Island had just begun

On the picture were seven students that all had differing expressions, eyes, and uniforms. The girl that was standing in the middle and smiling was Nanana Ryūgajō.

She was already cute back then

Well, she looks the exact same in room 202 right now though.

By the way, during this time I was very pretty

Beside Nanana was a girl that looked away with a moody expression. She definitely resembled Ms. Shiki. Although she looked a little moody, her profile seemed quite cool and I honestly thought she was quite beautiful.

Really, much different from now……

Of course, as I expected, I was punched when I made that comment.

Other than them, five students that I guessed to be the members of the GREAT7 were in the picture. Everyone seemed to have a somewhat abnormal and unique personality to them.

What have you researched?

While I looked at the photo, she continued drinking the beer while looking at me with a suspicious gaze.

Well, about everything more or less

I see, then what do you think

I was genuinely surprised. That Ms. Shiki and your other GREAT7 members had planned this when you were the same age as me
