If you asked Abraham if he was involved in this incident, the only truthful answer he could give would be yes. However, if asked whether he directly participated in it, the answer would be no, and that would also be the truth.

Abraham had two reasons for wanting to elevate Ankus to the position of Crown Prince.

The first reason was a personal one: the affection for his great-grandson. However, this was merely Abraham’s private motive. The second, and the true reason, was for the stability of Gehenna.

Before his death, Abraham wanted to solidify Gehenna’s position within King Rosais’ Country. That was his ultimate goal.

In other words, engaging in actions that antagonize King Almus would be counterproductive. Assassination, for instance, is the worst possible strategy.

Abraham intended to elevate Ankus to Crown Prince through political pressure alone.

So, who devised such a childish scheme?
