It had been about a week since the siege on Groselia, the capital city of King Gilbed’s Country, began.
After numerous attacks from onagers and large ballistae, sections of the city walls had started to crumble.
The relentless onslaught by the Romalia army had also begun to wear down the defenders.

Yet, despite everything, Groselia had not fallen.

Ron was beginning to worry. Taking over a week for this operation was starting to cause issues.

The first issue was a decline in morale. Siege warfare isn’t just stressful for the defenders—it’s also a massive strain on the attackers. Attacking immobile walls with no end in sight gradually saps morale.

The second issue was food supplies. In wartime, procuring food locally was the standard practice. Whether through looting, requisitioning, purchasing, or receiving support from local forces, the method doesn’t matter.

Even the Kingdom of Romalia, which boasted a specialized logistics division, was no exception.
