Bartolo, upon confirming the retreat of the Gilbed army, chose not to pursue them recklessly. Instead, he redirected his force of 30,000 troops to the southwest. Their destination was the southwestern region of King Gilbed’s Country, which had once been part of the former western countries invaded by King Gilbed’s Country.
There were three reasons for advancing into this territory.
