Vol 08 Chapter 255: Future Policies

In one of the rooms of the Royal Palace, nine men were gathered.

One of them was me, the king. Alongside me were Raymond, who acted as the representative of the nobility; Iarl, the leader of our diplomacy; Bartolo, the highest-ranked general of our kingdom; and Alexios, another general who had strong ties with the Kirisian people and extensive knowledge of naval affairs. Then there were my loyal retainers: Ron, Roswald, and Gram, as well as Ainz, who had temporarily returned from Persis.

The purpose of the meeting was straightforward: to determine the future direction of the kingdom.
