Over the Infinite Chapter 27 Part 3
Unauthorized? Like bootleg figures?
「Fan clubs vote on what goods they want, and that’s how they decide what to make. 」
That’s right, fan clubs.
Every debuting adventurer is automatically given a fan club. It’s a rule. They’re automatically created.
Naturally, Yuki and Kuro have one, and if Lilika debuts, she’ll have one too.
I have one, too, with quite a few members. I’ve never met the person, but someone named Toby is member number one. What kind of person is that?
But the majority of the members being male… I’d like to hear more excited cheers from female fans.
「Yuki, didn’t you get offers for figure merchandising? 」
「…Yes. I’ve been refusing them, though. 」
That’s serious? That was quick.
But I wonder if the treatment of such figures differs from the beautiful girl figures I saw in my previous life.
The figure shelf in front of me has a lizardman figure that looks like the old man.
…It’s actually named Gwuar. It’s treated like an action figure.
Is this gorilla-like figure also an adventurer?
…It’s named Gorilla. Why are there so many?
Looking closely, each figure is distinct… Could it be, after the panda, a gorilla hell awaits us?
No, it’s different. I almost ignored it, but right in the middle, there’s a figure of an adventurer with a gorilla face, confusingly named Gorio. But why is he surrounded by gorillas? Pets? No, they wouldn’t make figures of pets… It’s a mystery. There’s no detailed explanation, but there’s a sign saying (New Gorilla Stock!). I don’t understand the meaning.
「Why are there so many bears with weird patterns? Are these adventurers too? 」
Lilika is referring to the panda.
Figures of pandas, likely appearing as the boss of the 10th floor of the Infinite Corridor, are lined up in abundance.
「These are pandas. Well, a type of bear. 」
「Why are bears here… 」
You’ll understand soon enough.
But, I noticed the figure of a panda with sunglasses. That’s quite a dynamic pose. The sculptor must have worked hard. The legs look longer than usual.
「More panda goods have appeared lately. My sister even has this panda strap on her spear. 」
「Asha likes such things? 」
「Despite her appearance, she loves cute stuff. Her room is full of stuffed animals. 」
That’s an unexpected side to her. But now that I think about it, she does seem to have that vibe.
「There’s even a photo album of her. 」
「It’s embarrassing to see a family member’s photo album. I have one too. 」
The album is filled with dignified and cool photos. The panda strap subtly appearing in the photos is probably the photographer’s attempt at a gap moe.
「You might end up on the selling side too, Kuro. 」
「I doubt it. I’m just a plain Jane compared to my sisters. Yuki-chan would probably sell better. 」
「No, I won’t sell. 」
I don’t think that’s the case. Comparatively, Kuro does have a less striking presence, but she is still quite attractive. Yuki, from what I see on the bulletin board, would likely sell well too.
「What are these cards on display? I see ((Meteor Impact)) written on one. 」
「That’s for a card game. ((Meteor Impact)) is a high-rarity version, so it’s sold separately. 」
A TCG game using adventurer cards?
「Card games are easy to merchandise, so most adventurers appear in them.
In the past, they were just extras in snack packs, but now they’re sold in packs, and you get a small royalty for each card sold. If you have a named weapon like Tsuna’s Fuhige Kiri or a unique skill like Yuki-chan’s ((Clear Hand)), it could become a rare card. Why not try it? 」
「Maybe I’ll consider it if it’s just this much. 」
「I’d cry if my card ended up thrown in the trash. 」
The fact that it’s sold in packs doesn’t mean people are buying it for a specific one.
Even so, if I could get money for each one sold, my heart would be moved.
「It’s cheap, so why not buy one and see if you find someone you know? 」
「It’s awkward to find acquaintances, but I’ll give it a try. 」
With only one pack, you can’t even build a deck, but it’s a test, so it’s okay. I won’t actually play with it.
I bought one booster pack of the latest version, which apparently contains five cards per pack. When I opened the pack, I saw a familiar face inside.
「…Why does the cat-eared girl appear here? 」
The top card is Chitta from (Beast Ear Parade). It’s baffling how a pin-point card of her appears among the numerous adventurer, weapon, and skill cards. And she’s smug too. I want to tear it up.
「Chitta-san is here. I didn’t expect to see her here. 」
「It’s just a normal rarity. 」
To us, even the person himself has no rarity. And among the other cards, there are two rare cards of bald rabbit-eared guys.
「These rabbit ears are famous. Rare cards usually don’t come two in a pack. 」
I feel like I lost somehow.
「Yuki, as a fellow rabbit, I present these to you. 」
「No, thanks. 」
I’d struggle to handle them. I regret buying them. Now, they’ll get a tiny bit of money from this. Disappointing.
… Well, I guess there aren’t any Dungeon Master goods.
[ Warehouse ]
Next, we head to the personal warehouse on the second underground floor. It’s a bizarre space lined with countless doors. Each door has a slot for scanning your status card, which opens your personal warehouse.
No matter which door you open, as long as you use the same card, it leads to the same warehouse.
「Lilika-san hasn’t used this yet. Just swipe your status card in this slot. 」
「Uh, yeah. Understood. 」
With a somewhat nervous look on her face, she puts her card through.
The door opens with an unlocking sound, revealing a narrow space that resembles a locker in a dressing room. The contents are empty, of course.
I have used it several times, so I’m not impressed now, but Lilika is stunned.
「This is how it works. I wonder what kind of technique it is. 」
I have no idea about magic, so there is no one here who can answer that question.
「Would you like to try opening my warehouse using the same door? 」
「Do you have stuff in your warehouse, Tsuna? 」
「Sorry to disappoint you, Yuki. Spare weapons and such. 」
There’s no reason to keep weapons and armor in my room.
After Lilika and I switched places, I swiped my card, and the door opened to reveal a completely different space – my personal warehouse, even though it was the same door.
「It’s amazing. I have no idea how it works. 」
「Although there are fewer items, you’ve organized them quite neatly… Why do you have a fishing rod? Do you fish, Tsuna? 」
「It’s a dungeon drop. I’ve never used it, but I didn’t feel like selling it, so it’s just stored here. 」
I wonder if there are fishing spots in the Labyrinth City. They seem possible, but whether I would actually go fishing is another matter.
「What is a fishing rod? 」
「It’s a tool for fishing bears. 」
Lilika doesn’t seem to know what a fishing rod is.
「Tsuna, don’t teach her the wrong things. Well, you use this to cast a line and catch fish. 」
「I don’t really understand, but it’s a tool for that… By the way, Tsuna-kun’s warehouse is a bit bigger than mine, right? 」
「Yeah, I expanded it with GP. 」
I expanded it because the first stage of expansion was quite cheap. Still, it’s smaller than an ((Item Box)), so it’s not very effectively utilized. The cost for further expansions gets significantly higher, further expansion is likely to take some time.
「This warehouse can also be modified using GP. You can expand the space, prevent items from spoiling, or even adjust the temperature to use it as a fridge. One of my friends has a bunch of ice cream stored in hers. 」
The way it’s being used seems a bit off. Anyway, I just tossed the cards I had gotten earlier into my warehouse. They’ll probably decay eventually.

[ Shimomura Fashion Center ]
Finally stepping out of the guild hall, it’s time to explore the city. The first stop, as it turned out, was a clothing store crucial for daily life. We ended up at Shimomura, a popular clothing store I had visited once before. We chose it simply because it was close, though there are many other places that sell clothes.
「So they sell ready-made clothes in different sizes here. 」
「How was it outside? 」
「Weren’t you also from outside, Tsuna-kun? 」
Clueing in on the redundancy, Kuro interjected, but surely she should know too. I had never actually bought clothes before.
「You know, the clothes Tsuna was wearing when we met him were his best outfit. 」
「Eh, that rag?! Was that all you had? 」
Well, calling it a rag is a bit harsh.
「So, what was it like, really? 」
「We’d usually start by getting measured and it would take several days to make the clothes. There were second-hand clothes, but new ones weren’t really sold like this. 」
It seems like it’s a difficult time to get clothes outside. Well, I can’t speak about it myself, but still.
「Didn’t Yuki’s family sell clothes? 」
「They dealt with different kinds of goods. Apart from second-hand clothes, they didn’t really handle new ones. 」
「Aren’t there any places in the Labyrinth City where they make clothes from measurements? 」
「There are, but they’re very expensive. If you order from central areas, it’ll cost you a lot. 」
Certainly, ready-made clothes like these seem more accessible.
Even tailor-made suits feel more approachable somehow.
「There are so many sizes and it’s so cheap, so this seems good enough. Are there no robes though? 」
「You’d find robes at armor stores or specialty shops. They aren’t sold here as regular clothing. 」
Indeed, in the Labyrinth City, robes aren’t exactly everyday wear.
I’ve gotten used to wearing a T-shirt. It’s quite a change.
