At Igor’s command, the Lion Soldiers stood up all at once and fired at the city wall, and then they immediately went to hide back in the grass.

The city walls were brightly lit, while the area outside of them was dark. The defenders of the city probably didn’t even know from which direction they were being attacked. Panicked by the sudden attack, they fired arrows into the darkness and even fired slingshots at the nonexistent enemies.
