A year has passed since the Emperor’s coronation ceremony and mass wedding, known as the Miracle of the Grand Cathedral.

Siluca Meletes, the Empress of the Holy Leon Empire was now in the room with Marine Kraische, the Empire’s prime minister. It was a room in the Kraische family’s official residence not far from the palace.

Siluca is the Empress, and Meletes is the name of a family of Mages she belongs to, not her family name, which became Cornero after she married Theo, but Marlene is the head of the Kraische family, so even after she married Alexis, her family name did not change.
