The knights of Alonne, including the Lords, tried to charge straight against the heavily armed Heavy Knights of Waldrind, who took up a horizontal formation. Thei plan was to overwhelm them with numbers and not allow them to act as much as possible. However, even the sturdy sets of armor, which were the source of pride for the knights of Alonne and in which they had absolute confidence proved to be of no use whatsoever against their enemies.

The Crest-infused bolts which the Heavy Knights of Waldrind fired from their heavy crossbows penetrated the metal sheets of the armor of the knights of Alonne with such ease as if it was made out of wet paper. The knights of Alonne and their allies from the Fantasia Union started falling down one after another, and the blood gushing out of their corpses stained the entire battlefield red.

Next, daredevil mercenaries tried to
