Chapter 3: Birth of the Saint

Cheers were echoing through the town of Matre, the sacred place of the Order of the Crest.

The loud sound shook the seven hills surrounding the city, and it seemed to ripple the surface of the Tibes River, which ran through the center of the city.

People were lined up on both sides of the main street, with crowds forming even at the windows of the houses and rooftops of the buildings. A white horse-drawn carriage was moving slowly through the street. Fully armed knights surrounded the carriage, and a long line stretched out in front and behind of it.
