Ernesto, who had come to the baby’s side before he even realized it, touched the baby’s Crest while saying so.

At that moment, his body stiffened and his eyes widened in shock. Turkano thought to himself that this was exactly the same kind of look that he had on his face when he received his own Crest from his father, and had a revelation in which he claimed to have heard the voice of the Only God.
