(They’re afraid of a secret society supporting Dark Mages like Pandora…)

Pandora was certainly assisted by a Dark Mage, the Black Witch Yana. However, it no longer seems like all Dark Mages are members of Pandora.

「You have a strong will, and you won’t bend down before anyone. You haven’t changed at all since then. 」

Sembros gave her a wry smile.

「That’s why I wanted to keep you at the Magic University. Fortunately, that’s what you wanted too. 」

「Yes, that was my intention too. To that end, I worked harder than anyone else and mastered magic of all kinds just so that I could make sure that I’ll be able to stay here. 」

Siluca nodded.

「However, Earl Villar of Artuk took you from me and released you into the wild. 」

「At that time, I hated you for allowing that to go through, Headmaster. 」

「I regretted allowing it too… 」

Sembros took a deep breath.

「But I guess it’s all fate. Now that you’ve graduated from Magic University, there’s nothing I can do about you. Just like all the graduates I’ve sent out so far. 」

Then he patted Siluca on the shoulder.

「Headmaster… 」

Siluca felt a tightness in her chest welling up. However, she suppresses it and stares at Sembros instead.

「Actually, I came here today because I have a favor to ask of you. 」

「A favor? 」

Sembros’ mouth twitched. He had a bad feeling about this, and it showed on his face.

And it turned out that his hunch was actually spot on.

「I would like two of the students from the Magic University to make contracts with Earl Theo Cornero. 」

「Is it okay to choose from among those who already wish to graduate? 」

「No. 」

Siluca shook her head and named the two of them. Both are her juniors, but Siluca recognized their talent.

「Both of them should be finishing their undergraduate degree soon. 」

「Yes, but both of them already decided to enroll in other faculties… 」

Sembros insisted, but there was no strength in his voice to back his claims up.

「I know. But you know what? The Earl of Sistina wants these two specifically.

His heart hurt, but he has no choice but to back down. Unfortunately for him, That’s exactly the kind of man he was.

「……Understood. 」

Sembros just nodded his head bitterly.

「I’ll try to convince those two to go along with your Earl’s wishes. 」

「Thank you. I’ll be counting on you.」

Siluca bowed to Sembros reverently, and then she looked up at him and smiled.

「Please make sure that you stay in good health and protect this University and its students. 」

Sembros nodded silently and turned his back to Siluca. And then he left the Magic Beast Garden with slow steps. After they made sure that they could no longer see him, Aishela called out to Siluca.

「That’s a good old man. 」

「Yeah, he is. 」

Siluca nodded, and allowing the things that she was bottling up until now to overflow.

「I have been protected by many people. Lord Tiberio, Headmaster Sembros, my adoptive father, his family, His Highness Balgary, and of course you as well, Aishela. 」

「Of course. That’s because you’re so cute, Siluca! 」

Aishela laughed and put a hand on Siluca’s head, ruffling her neat hair, while His Highness Balgary looked like he was ready to cut her hand off at any time with his sharp tongue if she tried to do the same to him.

「Thank you. 」

Siluca answered in a hoarse voice.

「Now, let’s go back to the mansion, shall we? 」

While Siluca and the others were visiting the Magic University, Theo was enjoying his walk around Elam with Emma, Luna, and Priscilla. However, the twin Werewolf’s noses were constantly twitching and they dragged Theo to places that smelled like sweets, so they ended up eating quite a lot while they were walking.

「The city is big, the buildings are big, there are a lot of people, there are a lot of things we’ve never seen before…. It’s like an entirely different world! 」

Emma said as she kept on looking all around her with her eyes widely opened.

「It must be fun living in such a place when you’re rich, but when we were living in the Werewolf village, we’ve been happy without all that luxury as well. 」

「Back when our family was still together. 」

Emma nodded her head sadly.

「Mom Clara and Big Sister Arte are dead. Brother Flint hasn’t returned from the battle of Castle Unicorn, and Brother Ion went looking for the Vampire King… 」

Luna turned her gaze down as well.
「No matter how tough the things might be getting, The Only God is always watching over all of us. 」

Priscilla smiled at the twin Werewolves and started preaching. She never missed an opportunity to conduct her missionary work.

「We’re werewolves, so we don’t care about god and Crests at all. As far as we’re concerned, if only Theo could just break his Crest and become an Artist, then he could be turned into a pretty strong Werewolf. 」

「And then we could have lots of children with him and help our village grow! 」

Emma said something outrageous, and Luna tried to kiss Theo on the cheek.

「It would be a disaster if the Earl-class Crest were to be lost like that. 」

Priscilla’s face changed.

「There’s nothing wrong with being a Werewolf, but I still have things that I want to do. Besides, I’ve decided where my path is going to take me already. 」

Theo said while letting out a wry smile. Besides, even though the twins were saying that they wanted to have children with Theo, he was sure that eventually they’ll find someone else whom they’ll fall in love with.

「I’ll be happy to help Theo with that! 」

「I’ve become stronger because I was with Theo! 」

Emma and Luna said.

「Thank you. 」

Theo thanked the twins and told them they can play as much as they want today. Hearing Theo’s words, the twins ran around him, cheering, and they hugged him from both sides, shouting, smiling and cheering loudly.

These twins seriously recognize Theo as their leader, and they genuinely wanted to be with him at all times, and missed him greatly whenever they were apart. The fact that they also seemed to be serious about wanting to have a child with him was concerning, but they’re still young and impressionable, but as far as a financial side of things was concerned, then Theo would probably have enough money to safely afford raising a child or two, and that’s because he agreed to aid Endel in his efforts to recapture Dartania from Milza’s clutches.

Using the funds he obtained from him for the purpose of bolstering their military strength, Siluca had Radovan carry out a plan to collect volunteers from former soldiers of the Rossini family and slum dwellers, and entrust them to Endel. She was hoping that by doing that, they’ll be able to lure those dissatisfied with the direction that Theo’s Sistina was going away from the island with the promise of a huge reward. That was also supposed to lessen the burden on the militia of the rebel army who were patrolling the islands looking for bandits and those who were opposing Theo’s rule.

「By the way… 」

「…We’re being followed. 」

Luna began to speak, and Emma finished her sentence.

「Are you sure about that? 」

「Yeah, we’re pretty sure. 」

Emma nods, turning her gaze to a few things. As she casually looked around, the figure of a person with their hood pulled over their eyes came into view.

「Doesn’t that make it even more noticeable? 」

Theo was stunned when he saw that

「Whoever they are, they probably doesn’t want you to see their face. 」

Luna answered.

「I don’t sense any murderous intent from them. But Irvin said that real Assassins are capable of totally concealing their bloodlust and things like that. 」

Emma said while looking unsure. It seems like she has no idea who his person behind them might be.

The aim is to be serious.

「If I had been targeted by such an Assassin, I would have been dead by now. They must be trying to contact us instead, and they’re probably waiting for us to go somewhere out of sight. 」

Theo guessed so. There is no basis for him to think like that, but he had a hunch that this was the case.

「What do you want to do now? 」
